Did James Madison have a child with his enslaved half-sister?

At my university I read part of the book called the other Madisons about a woman named Bettye Kearse tracing her family back to James Madison and his enslaved half-sister called Coreen whom she said had a son named Jim. I tried finding out more, but the book seems to have not been discussed much since 2021 when a film version was made, are these claims accepted by historians or are they considered untrue?
