HELP ACT Math

Last year I got bellow average on the PreACT math section as a sophomore. This year I’m aiming for high above average.

This is the only section I’m struggling on, and I think it is because I don’t know all the material/I haven’t been taught it yet. Math is complicated for me because I do really well in class but have trouble applying it after the class is over.

My plan is to review all of high school math, and focus mainly on trig and geometry. Does anyone have any recommendations for high school math workbooks workbooks or any tips?

For more info:
I am aiming for a 33 or higher in my overall ACT score.

I am good at math, but only if I’ve just been taught how to do it, I forget properties and formulas quickly.

I have not been taken trig yet.

Marching Music Folder Recomendations

I need a folder just for small marching/pep music that dosen’t attach to a lyre. The things in the image have given me hell and the rings always come loose and drop my music. I need a better solution, any recommendations? Btw: it’s just for assemblies and dosen’t need to attach to a lyre.

Abandoned bunnies in neighborhood that “owner” do not want removed.

There are at least 5 bunnys that are loose in a local neighborhood. We talked to some people and they said they belonged to a house down the street and we’re trying to catch them.

We tried to catch them today but got stopped by a man who said they were “his” (belonged to his cul-de-sac) and that they were wild and to leave them alone. These are domesticated bunnys that are tearing up people’s gardens and running across the street. If they are left alone they will continue to breed and get run over.I looked it up and if an animal is abandoned the owner was no right to stop someone from taking it.

I have a friend who can take them and butcher them for meat. Should I catch them against the man’s will? I usually hate to see animals killed and am a pescatarian, but I think this is the best option to help them from getting out of control.

As for other options:

Animal control does not pick up strays where I live and would probobly euthanize them anyway

We live no where near a bunny sanctuary

I called the local pet shelter but I doubt they will take them.

I wish I was more musical

I am a highly successful highschool player, yet I never feel like a true musician.

I’ve narrowed this down to the fact that my brain is incompatible with musical abstract. I can play and sight read well, but I fail to grasp at the things that truly make music music.

For example:

One thing I’ve always questioned was the necessity of time signatures. After all, the music is mathmaticaly the same no matter how you cut it. I’ve been told it’s about the feel, but that just brings up a hundred more questions about the control we have when we play. It’s never been something I understood.

I have trouble with my ear. I still don’t really know how to tell if I am sharp or flat, and can’t recognize a note or key signature by ear for the life of me. I always feel like I’m missing something compared to my classmates.

I suck at jazz and even teachers have failed to make me understand or be good at improvising/soloing.

My biggest dream is to be able to compose music. But I know I will never be able to. I’m just a husk that can play, not create and understand. I feel so confused and everything feels like a dead end.

PLEASE enlighten me about Google Gemini

Originally tried to put this on r/environment but they don’t allow body text.

As an AntiAI person, Googles AI search feature has both perplexed and angered me for a long time. I have come here to seek answers so I can make the best decisions with my searches. Please provide respectful and reliable answers to my questions.

  1. Is Google Gemini significantly more environmentally harming compared to à regular Google search without AI? I know even non-AI Google searches require energy and emit CO2, but some people online say that useing AI in searches isn’t signifigantly more polluting.

  2. Does typing “-ai” at the end of a Google search stop AI from being used or only block us seeing the response? For a long time I have put -ai at the end of my searches as it stopes Google Gemini responses. But I can’t help but wonder, does it actually stop the ai form being used or just block us seeing it. It seems I’m the only one who ponders this, and many people don’t even know the -ai trick.

  3. What are some less-AI using search engines?

Any other information would be helpful! Thank you for listening to my questions!

How to make Inspection feature work consistently? -PC

I can get it to work but only inconsistently. If I spin my mouse wheel I just change weapons.

How to make the game look better?

It looks so plasticky and smooth. Everybody else’s graphics look great. Maybe it’s just my PC?

Fingerings for high high B natural and C (including 4th valve)?

4 ledger lines above the staff.

My euphonium has its 4th valve next to all the rest, not on the side. How should I use it to make these very high notes sound better and be in tune?

How do I improve my musical ear?

I’ve been a musician for 4 year now, and am mostly self taught regarding non-basic music theory. I’m not tone deaf, but my ear definitely isn’t great. I would like to be able identify a note by hearing it. Do you guys have any app/website recommendations? Currently I’m using Alfred’s Essentials of Music Theory, along with the ear training portions.
