Thoughts/insights?

I bought a 2016 Nissan frontier two years ago, I love the truck but I’ve been kinda kicking myself for not going for a full size ever since. I’ve got a 2.5 yo and possibly another baby in the future, so cabin space is a big part of it, and having a full size bed would be great.

Anywho, obviously I’d be upside down on the frontier as I still owe more than the trade in value. But with all that factored in the estimated monthly payment is almost exactly what I’m paying now, so theoretically I could get a newer, bigger truck with fewer miles (frontier is at 119k) for the same monthly cost.

I don’t really have strong opinions on the trim package, I like the nicer wheels on SV and up, but at the end of the day I just want a reliable truck that I can maintain myself like I’ve been doing with the frontier, just bigger.

So, sorry for the novel, but any thoughts or insight would be appreciated. TIA

Today’s haul

Just shy of a full pint. There’s raspberries in the bottom, but not as much as yesterday. My strawberries are starting to thrive, and the wineberries by me are finally starting to pop!

Found a stash

One of my girls regularly gets out of the chicken area, and today I found a secret stash of 9 eggs. They should still be good to eat yea? We’ve had some rain in the last week, but nothing super heavy, and no super hot days (like 80F max)

Thinking about looking at a 2017 XD gasser I came across, 126k miles for $15k. I’m aware of the cylinder 7 issue, and looked over the TSB which says it affects trucks built before vin ending in 518811. The vin for this truck ends in 553377, so should it be good? I’m obviously gonna take a look/listen and check out the full vehicle history when I go look at it. I’m just curious about this vin since, from what I’ve read, this truck should be right in the thick of affected years. 🤷‍♂️

Had a little green left of a couple Ethiopian naturals, Suke Quto and Buno Dambi Uddo. The Suke had really nice blueberry notes so I’m hoping that comes through on this blend.
