Should I relax my hair?

I’ve had sisterlocks for 9 years, my hair is a little over waist length now. Hair type is 4b. I love how low maintenance my hair has been over the years, but I am getting bored with my hair. I think about relaxers bc I remember not wanting to be bothered with it because it was so time consuming, which is why I got locs. I feel like going from locs to relaxed hair is a dramatic change, I brought this up to a coworker and she looked at it as anti-black. I’m just looking to try something new but not super high maintenance! I don’t mind paying to get my hair maintained regularly. I currently pay to get my hair done every 6 weeks on the dot, so maintaining a regular relaxer schedule won’t be a problem, I’m just scared of the unknown I guess?

NAPLEX results 7/17 or 7/18

Hi! Did anyone who took the NAPLEX results on either of these dates get results yet? I’m getting so anxious so hoping they post results soon! I’m hoping 07/18 gets posted the same time as 7/17 since it was on a Saturday 🫣😭

Small mouth

**Pictures included for visual reference**

I’m hoping to get advice from oral surgeons. As a child, I had two canines extracted because my orthodontist recommended it due to a severe overbite. From the front, I’m somewhat happy with my smile. However, from the side, my teeth seem to angle backward, and it’s become one of my biggest insecurities. My bite is fixed, but how do I go from an overbite to teeth that angle back??? I remember wearing rubberbands for majority of my time with braces, but part of me feels like I would rather have an overbite than have teeth that angle backwards.

A separate issue is that my mouth physically doesn’t open very wide. Every dental appointment is painful because I have to keep my mouth open for so long, and I can’t bite into large sandwiches or burgers without cutting them into smaller pieces first because my mouth just won’t open wide enough. I do not think it is TMJ/jaw clenching related because this is a chronic issue that still shows up despite mouth guards, Botox, etc. My jaw physically cannot open wide and I hate it. One time I had suspected strep throat and couldn’t get a throat swab because the nurse could not see far enough to swab my throat because I could not open my mouth wide enough. Multiple staff tried and could not see. I am often told I have a small mouth by hygenists at appointments. I just want to fix this so I can move forward.

My questions are:
Is there any surgical procedure that can increase how far someone’s mouth opens?
Has anyone seen or treated a case like this?
Could the limited mouth opening and the side profile of my teeth be related, or are they likely two separate issues?
If surgery is an option, what procedures should I be researching or asking about?

I’m just trying to find out whether this is something that can actually be corrected surgically before I schedule a consultation.

UWorld Calc

Why are these UWorld RxPrep qbank calculations so ridiculously hard?? I feel decent about studying for the NAPLEX and then here comes UWorld calculations coming to humble me. This is so discouraging so I’ll laugh now to prevent from crying lol

True Learn or Pharmacyexam for NAPLEX studying

Hi! I’m using UWorld RxPrep to study for the NAPLEX. Anyone use True Learn or Pharmacyexam or know anyone who used either of these for NAPLEX resources (NOT MPJE)? I can’t find honest reviews and I’m looking to add a supplemental source for practice questions. I already know about NABP Pre-NAPLEX, PPP, etc so I’m only asking about the sources listed, thank you!

Calculations

For those who recently took the NAPLEX, did you memorize the entire formula sheet or just a few formulas? I get overwhelmed looking at the formula sheet so if there are some that I can “cut out” and not worry about memorizing, that would be helpful! I know there are some provided, I’m asking about the ones we are supposed to memorize that have not came up on the exam.
