Rules Reminder: Don't Do These (Extremely Stupid and horrible) Things -

Now that we have proof that the Trump Administration is targeting its political enemies for politically motivated trumped-up criminal investigations on the thinnest of pretexts, we presume that any and all posts and comments which even flirt with Aiding & Abetting of Violence (aiding, abetting, commanding, counselling, inducing, procuring, encouraging, celebrating, wishing for violence) are prima facie proof that the author is one or more:

  • incapable of exercising wisdom;

  • incapable of reading and following community rules and Reddit Sitewide Rules;

  • possessed of a sociopathic disregard for the safety of others;

  • inviting the audience to volunteer to be one of the subjects of the Trump DOJ witch hunts -

and will therefore be banned from this community.

#DO NOT POST NOR RESPOND TO ANYTHING IN THE VEIN OF:

"What if it happened today"

"Go, Cholesterol!"

"Too bad that kid missed"

"Giant Meteor 2026"

etc etc etc

If you do, we ban you.

Instead, try using the tiniest bit of imagination, and verbally wish for a world where Donald Trump and his cohort suddenly have a spasm of consciences, repent their evil, and put their ill gotten wealth towards realising world peace, housing, health care, and food for all.

Be a rebel - imagine and work towards a brighter future.

There will be a Early Warning System sirens test at noon, 12:00, today

Just FYI - if you’re not already aware

Much of North Texas tests the emergency siren system at noon on the first Wednesday of the month, and that’s today

Have fun

Trump & Musk gutting just one program (New World Screwworm) will cost $1 billion to fix, 66,666% more than it cost to run

Ambassador Ken Fairfax (ret) @portlandken.bsky.social

Quintessential Trump: In 2025, Trump axed the program to combat New World Screwworm, stating that they had "saved" $1.5 million a year. In 2026, the Trump announces a $1 billion emergency program to combat the Screwworm outbreak. $1 billion would have funded the old program for 667 years. 7:35 PM • Jun 15, 2026

Trump has filed an appeal in an attempt to have his name put back on The Kennedy Center. He has left it looking like this after the court ordered his name removed.

We now have three simple rules: Nothing Off-Topic (has to oppose Trump / Trumpism); No AI Content; Follow Reddiquette

This community is about opposing Trump and Trumpism.

AI generated content is (currently) produced by burning fossil fuels, poisoning communities, monopolising energy distribution and water, and the results undermine our political values.

Similarly, cheap potshots & empty, angry rhetoric are their only political methods. It’s okay to be angry; it’s just that Trump isn’t going to see you call him a toad, here. Save the bandwidth here for protest organising, news, and community - not two minutes’ hate.

Please pass along a bug report -

When banning a user, the built-in ban dialogue box sometimes now builds a ban message to the user, which message cites the parent post instead of the comment as the context from which the user was banned, and builds messaging stating that the post is the reason for the ban, instead of the comment.

e.g. I recently banned two user accounts for comments the users left on posts, and their ban messages started off with

> Hello, You have been permanently banned from participating in /r/subredditnamehere because your post violates this community's rules.

where your post were hyperlinks to the parent posts, not to the users' comments.

The ban message for users banned from a comment should read

> Hello, You have been permanently banned from participating in /r/subredditnamehere because your comment violates this community's rules.

where your comment should be a hyperlink to their comment, not to the parent post.
