Hi everyone! My friend volunteered at the Gobi March and met a Thai woman with Moo Deng patterned running gaiters. Obviously she fell in love with them because who doesn't love baby hippos?! What's your favourite variety of rice when making sushi, poke or onigiri at home? There are a few threads over at r/JapaneseFood, but they're old. I bet lots of people here have an opinion on rice!

I've always used basic Calrose, but this week decided to buy a bag of nanatsuboshi and a bag of koshiibuki to try out. Looking forward to see how those taste!
