Fan advice

Hi all. I have a converted Peugeot Boxer, named Lance (boys an ex ambulance) and I adore him.

We’ve decided we want to go away for LO’s birthday… the first weekend in August. We’ve found a nice campsite down in Cornwall and have nearly everything good to go.

However, we already live in the south and are aware that it’s as hot as Satans balls here at the moment and while it is forecast to cool down, I get very paranoid about LO’s room temp when she’s sleeping. We have an aircon unit at home but we obviously can’t take that with us as it’s too powerful.

So, I need a cooling fan. He has 3 leisure batteries but im assuming i should be looking for a 12v? I’m after one that will actually cool Lance down not just push hot air around. Does anyone have any advice? Any that you’ve bought and worked really well?

Pics of Lance (before he was finished) to give an idea of layout.

U.K. wine collectors

Where are you storing your wine? Our houses are built to keep the heat in and out garages are usually the same. With the weather hitting 38” in some places this week what are you doing with your collections?

How do you split the bills?

My other half earns about £1k more than me per month and we split bills, mortgage and groceries 50/50. I thought this was normal but I’ve seen a lot of people on Reddit splitting it differently. So how do you split the bills and does it change depending on who earns more?

*Edit to add* just to clarify I’m not unhappy with how we do things, it’s what works for us, just that I thought it was the norm and am interested to see that it’s not.

I feel like I need to clarify a few additional things. We’re not married but for us, it wouldn’t change anything even if we were.

Secondly while he does earn more he also does cover it if we have an unexpectedly heavy month and more money needs to go into the joint account, so some months are 50/50, others it leans higher his way. He also mostly saves what isn’t used of his salary so it’s not like he’s off partying without me. We live within the means of what we can both afford not what only one of us can do.

Vinted sellers are starting to p*ss me off.

You aren’t a hustler, an entrepreneur and this shouldn’t be your income revenue.

It’s a f*kn online charity shop. Gtfo of here with your £20 for a pair of jeans. I saw someone selling a Y2K Hollister top for £45 last week. £55 for a pair of Levi’s.

Why. Why would I pay outlet prices for clothes I can’t even try on first?

VINTED👏IS👏A👏CHARITY👏SHOP. The only difference is that you are the charity.

Some of these sellers need a slap.

**EDIT** you lot got triggered 😂
