I'm working on a dungeon for a new campaign. When I create a dungeon, I like to create different factions/groups and denote which factions are in control which parts of the dungeon at any given time.
Out of curiosity, does anyone have any particular factions/faction dynamics they like to include in their dungeons? Or do you have an alternative approach you use when stocking/restocking your dungeon you like to use?
I'm trying to get started on designing a "mega-dungeon" for an AD&D campaign. What are some good examples of mega-dungeons to draw inspiration from and get familiar with the design conventions?
