My mom is making it so hard to enforce consequences

She keeps bailing my kid out every time i try and impose a life consequence. Just today my 14 year old slept the morning away, he woke up at 2 and wanted me to make him breakfast. I told him he was free to make himself breakfast (there is plenty of food he could make, granola bars, cereal, eggs, toast). I said if he wakes up at a reasonable time, im happy to make him breakfast but when he wakes up after lunch, he is on his own. He went to his room and sulked and i went out to get groceries. I come back and my son is gone. He called grandma, who ran to get him so she could take him back to her house to feed him instead of letting him figure out how to be self sufficient. She is always running to save him from his evil mother. If i wont do something for him, she will, if i wont buy him something, she does. Its driving me crazy and making him unmotivated.

Yes i have told her to stop 100 times, i just gave her shit for getting him instead of letting him figure it out. She will promise not to do it again but then does anyway.

Not a candidate for hrt

So due to ovarian and breast cysts my doctor wont put me on hormones. She threw a prescription for anti depressants at me and that was all.

I dont really see the value in me taking antidepressants since mood swings are the least of my problems. Am I just sol?

Elgin. Finale spoilers ahead

I know this sub has crazy hate for Elgin, I mostly feel sympathy for him. He is naive and easily manipulated, and definitely not cut out for any of this. He is just a scared kid imo.

When he chose death over aligning with sophia, the sun came back and the earthquakes stopped. I dont think thats a coincidence. I think him choosing to be brave and sacrifice himself instead of selling out the townspeople like Clara restored some of the balance of good that was lost when the bottle tree was pulled out.

Courteon's ama

In his ama, the actor playing Ellis was asked to say something that we wouldnt understand until the season ended. He said fall.

So far all I could theorize was that it had something to do with the tower Tabitha fell from into the real world but given the tower has played no significant part of season 4, I doubt it.

In the last episode we saw Sophia sabotage the rope ladder so im wondering if when they escape with the bones, the ladder breaks and they fall. That doesnt seem significant enough though.

Wondering if anyone else came up with something tk explain fall

Sensing a theme...

Children books, children's toys and children's drawings all play a significant role in Fromville.

They shape the town, the monsters, the events and the abilities of the townspeople. Its got to connect to the origins of the town, right?

Maybe Tabitha and jade inadvertently created fromville out of their guilt for not having saved the children. And they have doomed themselves to repeat the cycle until they can solve it. The dolls were Tabitha's and they became monsters.

Im not sure how sold i am on that theory but I thought it was interesting enough to share.

Can we please be mindful of spoilers in titles

I haven't had a chance to watch the latest episode and my entire feed is From spoilers. Save it for the body of the post so the rest of us have a chance.
