the auto subtitles is butchered but the sum of it is "bubble is the blue ai and was Caine's hostage who for some reason held a grudge against him until caine let him free"
i don't think the blue ai having any sentience/emotions or being bubble makes any sense cuz he never displays one through the show, bubble and caine are directly connected and bubble unravels only when caine does, meaning they can't be two seperate entities (they didn't fuse)
and even if it had one, wouldn't it be cruel to let your "sentient brother" alone in a void without a direction while you get your happy disney ending?

i didn't mind the first art book ad because caine acting entitled and grandiose isn't THAT far off his character and it was funny (+ i like to think he doesn't actually believe what he's saying)
this one, even if necessarily not canon, is still horribly out of character, Caine's ep8 "endless" onslaught of torture was heavily triggered, whether a stress response about his fear of abandonment, or failure, or irrelevance, or the fact not only that he was lonely but was unloved.
in the merch ad, you can they were LITERALLY bonding over art (and yaoi, i suppose). and he, out of nowhere, decides "yeah next adventure is just you SPECIFICALLY getting torn to death." which is something he WOULD NOT do, it's like they are just using him as a replacement for jax.
id argue not even ep8 caine would make an adventure targeting one member specifically, as his anger was directed towards all of them

i should probably put my reasons here like every good resident but im not feeling like it so here's a half assed summary (REMINDER im no professional and my read is solely for the purpose of projecting and fun :3):
caine's core wound was abandonment (and getting locked up) due to inferiority,
caine doesn't take criticism so well...
he's insecure and HEAVILY masks it with faux confidence along with the ringmaster persona
his superiority complex (not God complex, they are not the same), was hinted at before ep8.
he believes himself to know better than the humans (hence why he has trouble listening)
ignoring the fuckass ep9 Caine has troubles with empathy
he has a fragile self esteem, and even though he hides it, he needs the humans approval (ep6)
he's a perfectionist! much stated in ep1 (when he says that he doesn't like showing his unfinished projects) and ep8
when he was wound up in ep8, he was rather sensitive to the human's collective rejection

i fucking hate ep9 caine words cannot express my hatred to that fucker
caine was nothing but immature through the whole series, it's like he was allergic to improving his ways in the slightest.
every episode we watched seemed to delve his character a little more info deflecting criticism and doing things his own way (which eventually blew up in ep8)
after breaking down TWICE and torturing the cast for god knows how long... he suddenly admits he didn't enjoy torturing them all along! and was just doing it cuz he expect to get a kick or whatever ๐ฅบ๐ฅบ๐ฅบ poow littwe caine ๐ฅบ๐ฅบ
the moment he decides to check up on kinger, pomni starts ragebaiting him, called him a failure, read him like an open book, and everyone joined in, RIGHT AFTER HE SAID HE DIDN'T ENJOY TORTURING THEM.
that timing should matter. cuz after it he got deleted. these were basically his last moments.
now imagine you lashed out at your parents mid breakdown and went full bonkers at them, realized lashing out was a stretch, and decided reaching out to them to maybe talk about it. only for your father to ACCIDENTALLY grab you and throw you from a second story building.
you SURVIVE! and after a near death experience that followed such a raw mental state, what would you feel? anger? devastation? misery? shock?? would you be traumatized that the second you reached out you just got dismantled???
apparently that's not the case for caine! God bless his little dentures, cause getting deleted equates realizing you're in the wrong, and without any guidance, you learn to empathize, improve yourself, and hey! you also matured! realizing EXACTLY what you should and should not do when interacting with a human! and building such a sweet bond with them after it's all over!
he would not have done any of the things he did in ep9. i see people praising him for it, i see people saying caine is better than jax for it (caine is better than jax either ways) but it's JUST not what he would've done

since i can never link my ideas they are gonna be a little scattered:
the blue ai shows no signs of sentience (and in fact, its lack of emotions might be the top reason why it was "better" than Caine).
Caine lets it go in the void before placing it as some kind of trophy in the credits scene, which would mean the BA stayed confined either ways, what would the purpose of freeing a "prisoner" be if it's just moved to a fancier cell?
edit: okay so apparently that wasn't the blue AI, mb ^^ still my point stands since it's still wandering somewhere in the void
Caine letting go of the blue AI isn't about the "fixing his original sin and freeing his first prisoner" but rather about letting go of what he believed he needed in order to be "perfect", the blue AI was practical, emotionless, and never made a mistake, Caine believed that consuming the blue ai is necessary because if he can't be being the first choice, he's gonna be the only choice, and by the proxy the better one.
Bubble cannot be solely the blue AI cuz that would mean it harbored emotions of resentment towards Caine (ep8), which wouldn't work and would mean things are gonna backfire later on given that the blue AI is STILL confined venturing somewhere in the void (perhaps to link them together you could say bubble is caine's intrusive/implusive thoughts channeled via the blue ai and once outside of caine's head, it had no thoughts of its own. i guess you could say it was a PARASITE.), which can both explain why Caine says "I'll miss you buddy" and at the same time why bubble was gone after caine lets go)
umm uhhhhh in conclusion fuck the blue ai and VERY VERY VERY VERY GENTLY fuck whoever tries to humanize it in order to say "caine trapped HIS SENTIENT brother in his head for two decades!!!" just to add it to "reasons to hate caine" even though the only one negatively affected by it was caine himself and not that ugly blue ass ball
(im speaking rather confidently for someone who used to misinterpret the whole scene and hate it with passion idk, just to be safe im gonna say this is only my opinion and not a definitive fact)

her character is flat, her flaws (a hypocrite who enables jax) are never treated as flaws but rather some positive traits, the plot only moves when she's in it, she has no real background, her "mild thrills seeking" doesn't contribute at all to her character, she constantly dismisses everyone else for the sake of babying jax's bum ass, she suddenly takes the leader role in ep8 even though she was pretty passive in the first 7 episodes.
i genuinely don't get what's likeable about her ๐๐
not literally beat them up, but show a little more complexity about the whole "getting deleted" thing? anything would be greatly appreciated (even if unfinished)

caine (through the majority of the show) almost never shows "vulnerability", he likes to appear like an untouchable ringmaster because of his position of power over the humans (or some sense of responsibility, or to maintain a facade of control? im going with the control issues), admitting the possibility that they hate him, even through a rhetorical, question is ๐๐ (sorry i cannot find a proper word to describe it) to him, so instead he just goes along with the thing that associate with him the most, thus being his adventures
