My first gold bar

I got my first job in July and now that it’s October I finally saved enough to buy my first oz of gold. I paid around $4,500 for it and I’m pretty excited about it.
Since I’m new to owning physical gold, where do you guys recommend keeping it safe? Also, I keep getting this irrational thought that gold could somehow drop to $0 one day lol. I know that’s extremely unlikely and I’m probably just overthinking it, but did any of you feel like this when you first started buying gold?
Is there anything you think a beginner should learn about owning gold that would help me understand the investment better?

Is my money haram

Hello, I have a question regarding whether my income is halal.
I am a Shia Muslim, and I earn some side income by selling retatrutide to friends who are struggling with weight loss. My intention is never to deceive or harm anyone. Before selling it, I explain the potential side effects, such as nausea, and I encourage them to do their own research and make an informed decision. If I believed it was harmful or unsafe to sell, I would not sell it.
I do make a profit from these sales, and earning money is one of my reasons for doing it. At the same time, I’ve seen that it has helped some of my friends lose weight and feel more confident.
This has been weighing on my mind because I don’t want to earn haram income. Based on these circumstances, would the money I make from selling retatrutide be considered halal or haram? I would sincerely appreciate your guidance.

17 years old, first job, $2.5k saved. Looking for advice on saving and investing.

Hi everyone,
I got my first job about 2 weeks ago. I’m 17 years old, working around 30–40 hours a week, making about $14/hour.
I currently have about $2,500 saved. About $800 of that is from this job, and the rest is from DoorDashing and reselling things.
My goal is to have $10,000 saved by January 1st, but school starts in 2 weeks and, because I’m 17, I’m only allowed to work 24 hours a week during the school year. Once I turn 18, I’ll be able to work as many hours as I want again.
I’ve also started investing a little by buying 1 gram of gold, and I’ve been thinking about investing in an S&P 500 index fund like VOO. My biggest concern is that I’m scared of losing money, so I’m not sure if I should invest or just keep saving cash.
My long-term goal is to buy rental properties someday and eventually own a home.
If you were 17 again with $2,500 saved, what would you do? Should I keep saving cash, start investing in VOO, buy more gold, or do something else?
Any advice is appreciated!

17 years old with my first job—saving vs. investing?

Hi everyone, I’m 17 and just got my first job. I really want to start saving money and build good financial habits early. My goal is to save $10,000 by January 1st, and I’m trying to figure out the best way to do that.
Right now, I’m not sure if I should keep my money in a savings account or start investing some of it. Investing seems a little risky to me since I’m new to all of this, so I’m wondering if it’s better to focus on saving first.
Does anyone have any advice for someone just starting out? What are some tips that helped you save money faster, and is there anything you wish you knew when you got your first job? If you were in my position, would you save everything first or invest a small amount?
Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Getting started in gold

I’m 17 years old and want to start investing in physical gold. I don’t come from a wealthy family, and right now I have about $300 that I earned from DoorDash. I don’t have a regular job yet.
I’m trying to figure out if I should buy my first 1-gram gold bar (around $150), keep saving cash until I have more money, or wait altogether.
My goal isn’t to get rich quick—I want to build wealth slowly over the years. For those of you who own gold, what would you do if you were starting over at my age with only $300?
Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Collecting WWE figures in box

I’m trying to build an in-box WWE figure collection from the 2010–2016 era because WWE was a huge part of my childhood. So far I’ve picked up Elite 41 Dean Ambrose and Elite 47 The Rock. Both boxes have a little wear/tear, but nothing major.

For those who collect in-box figures, how much does minor box damage matter? Is it something you avoid, or is a little wear acceptable?

Also, does anyone have advice for someone just starting an in-box collection? Any tips on what figures to target first or how to collect without spending a fortune?
