As a child I was molested by my mum’s boyfriend. She wasn’t with him for too long, but the trauma he inflicted upon me still hurts in many different ways. For years I was able to push back memories of the CSA I experienced by him, until they slowly came back during my adult years - and I realised I couldn’t push them back anymore.
I told my mum. She said I was lying because I was a “hideous” child, and told me never to report it to the police as they would dismiss it based on my appearance. I am one of the many victims of CSA that doesn’t go to the police because so little is done to protect us victims.
EOD decides to insert their 2p into the situation and say that someone is only a victim of a crime if they are convicted. The data itself shows victims of crimes relating to grooming, SA, and any other kind of abuse is under reported due to victims getting away with it.
I was watching the comments and even mentioned people like Saville never got convicted while he was alive. EOD then backtracked and conveniently ignored that their own “SA reports” didn’t go far, and their alleged perpetrators never got any time in prison for it.
EOD is part of why victims will never be trusted or believed. First, it is because they openly say that in order for someone to truly be a PDF or a groomer they would need a conviction. Second, it is because they themselves have lied about SA and accused BAME men of it.
I hope that people realise EOD is a liar, a victim blamer, and they themselves have messaged children in an inappropriate way. They admitted before to doing it, but are now saying that it never happened.
Victims please know we deserve our stories to be heard and not dismissed by idiots like Stomper.
