Needed to soften butter at a grocery store

I used to work in kitchens but now I hand out free samples at a bougie grocery store in my city. I needed to soften butter for free samples and I wanted to do the trick where you boil water, put it in a glass, let the glass heat up, dump the water, then put the hot glass on the butter to soften it up. Unfortunately however grocery store kitchens you can cook two dozen rotisserie chickens at once and you can deep fry several pounds of chicken at once and you can make fried rice in a giant wok, but you can't boil water there's nowhere in the kitchen to boil water. So what did I do? I went to the break room, filled the coffee machine, put the butter next to the hot water spout in the lid, and just pressed brew. It worked like a dream.

Do I know ball?

I decided to do the same thing everyone else in the sub is doing cause it seemed fun. Do I know ball? Some of these were genuinely difficult choices

God damn what a coal plant

First time playing as tokugawa, and god damn I forgot how hard meiji restoration slaps. I managed to get TWO +13 industrial zones each with a +26 bonus production coal plant. This is gonna be one hell of a magnus play.

(Deity, pangea, managed both +13 zones thanks to 2 aqueducts and a dam plus gov plaza and diplo hall)

Using Persias capital as a training camp

I eliminated persia from my game, but didnt wanna hold their capital cause I dont wanna stretch my luxury resources that thin or get the held original capitals penalty to my diplo favor. So before razing Persias last two cities I let their capital fall to loyalty pressure and become a free city, and now its a live fire training range for my archers. I have them permanently bombarding the city to gain exp then backing off to heal whenever they need it so I can farm out promotions lmfao

I thought this start was bad at first

Was deciding how I wanted to start a Wilhelmina game and at first I thought this start was trash cause of the general lack of production, but once I started putting down map pins it all came together and now I have a plan

RSIH/Return to the Return makes me think of Grandpa

I dunno if this post is acceptable in this subreddit but it doesn't seem to have a rule against it so im gonna send it I suppose, mods will delete it if not.

My grandpa just died the other day, during Deadrocks no less, and I miss him dearly. He worked for NASA for a very long time, and is the reason I got so into science, particularly astrophysics and cosmology, at such a young age.

RSIH and Return to the Return, particularly the first 3 songs of RSIH and Heartbeat Interlude on Return to the Return, make me think about my grandpa, and I can't stop crying any time I listen to any of those songs.

I dunno what im seeking making this post, maybe just a little support from my ZD fam while I process this loss. My grandma is a fan of EDM and also an old hippie, so I had hoped to sit down with my grandma and grandpa and watch the RSIH album movie and Return to the Return movie with them, but now I'll never get a chance to share this with him.

I've censored my Grandpa's name from these photos just for a little privacy, but yeah, he meant a lot to me, and my love of space is a huge part of why I love RSIH and Return to the Return so much.

Anyways I've rambled enough, Zs up fam.

Some album cover/song title kandi I made this week 'u'

I like to use album covers for inspiration, I like to make kandi for specific songs then bring them to that artists shows to give away to add to the memory for other people 'u'
