Blackreach Cave system on my map Sumera!

This is heavily inspired by blackreach from Skyrim, and I know it isn’t exactly alike but it has the vibe.

Here you can find all your red zone creatures, aswell as rock drakes and Reapers.

Sumera is an ASE map that’s releasing soon!

Cool cave on my map Sumera!

This is a small cave that houses bloodstalkers.

The map is on ase and isn’t out yet and is being developed by me, Ronald. Google ai thinks some random studio made it and that’s why this bits here and why I’m posting this

Ark mod map preference question

I’m making a map for ase and I want to know if people would rather have no dependency’s or have fjordur as one.

If fjordur was a dependency I could add lots more caves and landmarks and ruins but it would need fjordur installed.

Or no dependency but the file size is marginally increased and there’s less caves.

Deset on my map!

This is a desert on my map Sumera, it’s going to be very big and This part of it is my initial more lush region. The desert contains OSDs in its wider more open valleys.

I posted a post about this earlier but this one is way more in depth featuring all the planned sub-biomes for the desert

Cool desert on my map

This desert spans from Central Asia all the way to the gobi desert. It’s VERY hot and houses these forests, aswell as open deadlands, more mountainous areas with wyverns, lush canyons, and OSDs!

More ocean content on my map!

This is the shallow and deep Stoney reef biome west of India on Sumera. It is a biome defined by its vertical rock pillars and canyons. It’s safe in the shallows, with the only dangers being manta rays while the deeper regions house megalodons. You may even find the rare iridescent pearls in the deeper portions, which can be used as a substitute for Mutagel.

The canyons host an interesting cave system as well…

Cool cave I made

A neat little icy cave with some platforming bits you’ll find on Mount Everest’s glaciated western slope in my map Sumera.

Ocean on my map Sumera!

I want the ocean to be diverse In threats and progression. There will not be megalodons in these areas so you can actually explore them. But there will be the occasional tuso so there’s a real threat to be careful of.

Kelp forest on my map!

This biome is very inspired by subnauticas kelp and mushroom forests and features giant mushrooms, kelp, and giant thermal spires that resemble the islands in Genesis 1.

It goes form the surface to about 200 meters down at its deepest and features a giant thermal spires going from the deepest point and extending far above the surface and it’s covered caves and giant shrooms and kelp.

It features relatively safe ocean dinos like dolphins and giant turtles with the biggest threats being mantas and the occasional tuso in the deepest portion.

Anyone have the chapter 7 landscape material?

Anyone have a replica of either chapter 7 materials? I really want to use it in a map I’m planning to make.

Caves on my Map!

These are some very nice caves on my Asian themed map Sumeru. These are a mix of artifact caves and buildable caves. I aim to have 15 caves on the maps initial release.

Karst Jungle on my Map!

This biome is a karst jungle and is located in and based off SE Asia. It features incredible verticality and giant karsts. The biome consists of yellow white limestone in the south and east and grey granite near the mountains. This part borders the mangrove swamps of Bangladesh and the Himalayas.

Ark map Realms concept…

I’m making an Asian themed map and want to add three realms like fjordur. I use Claude to take notes and name things.
Here’s the breakdown of what I want to make. Please give me feedback on it.

THREE MYTHOLOGICAL REALMS

Penglai (蓬萊) — Divine tier, sky realm

•	Floating island archipelago, TotK sky island aesthetic
•	Fragmented ancient geological terrain, waterfalls off edges
•	Jade and gold mineral veins in exposed rock faces
•	Sparse immortal village settlements suggesting former glory
•	Bioluminescent at night
•	Clear bright blue skybox
•	No flying dinos — Rock Drakes for traversal
•	Drake eggs hidden in hollows underneath the islands
•	Boss — Tiān Shén (天神), Sky Titan, lightly gold tinted

Longong (龍宮) — Mid tier, oceanic realm

•	Underwater aesthetic without actual water mechanics
•	Caustic light patterns on every surface suggesting submersion
•	Water surface above the player as a ceiling, light filtering down
•	Coral formations as primary terrain
•	Seafloor textures on the ground
•	Dragon King’s palace architecture embedded in coral
•	Space whales and dolphins as rideable traversal creatures
•	No flying dinos
•	Boss — Lóng Shén (龍神), Forest Titan, deep blue and covered in coral

Jiuyou (九幽) — Endgame tier, void realm

•	Primordial void, pre-creation darkness
•	Corpse of an ancient imprisoned god — fragmentary remains
•	Enormous arm bones visible as cliff faces, skull as cave entrance leading into the corpse interior
•	Small rot and flesh patches where decomposition partially took hold
•	Ancient imprisoned primordial beings
•	Dark grey almost black skybox
•	No flying dinos — Reapers for traversal, Seekers present
•	High quantity endgame resources including Element
•	Boss — Xū Shén (虛神), Ice Titan, black with dark crystals

Please tell me what you think of this concept.

River valley and Himalayas on my Map!

This is the valley that separates the Himalayan and Indian mountains and has a beautiful river running through.

I’m fairly confident that the mountains/cliff is about the same height as the volcano. Mount Everest is significantly taller than the volcano aswell.

Bangladesh Swamp area on my map!

This area is a mangrove swamp much like the real ones in Bangladesh. It also has giant pillars of rock with jungle trees you can build tree platforms on.

What’s the best ‘type’ of cave?

I’m making a map and want to see what kinds of caves people like.

Like do people prefer the islands cramped caves, extinctions giant caverns, ragnaroks dungeons, or anything else

And visual style, there’s tons of variety but what’s the best? Barren and rocky, verdant, ethereal glowing crystals, etc.

Is it better when they mostly follow a similar theme? Line so far in my map, there’s this theme of magical green crystals and said crystals infecting creatures.

Anyways thanks for answering
