Hey all.

Just a shadetree mechanic here.

Looking for guidance on a $30 garage sale find.

There are no markings on this guitar anywhere. Nothing in the neck pocket, headstock, under the scratch plate.. Nothing.

It did come with a Washburn hard case. I'm betting money it's not a Washburn.

Anyway I have a couple of questions.

1. Screws on the bottom of the bridge would help adjust intonation, correct?

2. The screws on either side of of the bridge pieces will help adjust intonation as well as action, correct?

3. If I were so inclined to want to use a sign painter's lettering enamel like One Shot would it be advisable to lightly sand the finish to increase bond? My intention is to tape off a thin line with pinstripe tape, and paint it bright red to imitate binding on the top.
