Camera inside dorm

Hey guys!

I am in Bali at the moment and there was a camera inside my mixed dorm (which I had no information about) at Golden Cage Heritage Hostel Denpasar. I was changing in the dorm as it was empty and only had card access. I saw the camera, freaked out and confronted the owner. He said its normal for security reasons and nobody ever complained. I left

I have traveled to a couple of places but nothing extensive. Has it happened to anyone else?

Seven Seeds Appreciation

Last year I stumbled upon this place for a late date night (too bad most of the Delhi gets closed by 12) and ever since it has become one of my favorites.

Its such a go to for fine desserts and late night catchup (raat ko bahar nikalne ka keeda ek din meri maut ka kaaran banega).

Only con is that some shit ass RWA barricades the area cause apparently Delhi me sadak sabke baap ki hai🤲

A glimpse of my week ft. random redditor turned friends

I think I have been on a roll since a month (especially this week). I ended up meeting 4 different folks from this very sub and even I am surprised by my ultra powered social battery.

I know reddit was not 'supposed' to be a socialising app but here we are. Meeting strangers can be dangerous, overwhelming and 100 other things but here are quick pointers that can help you in making friends/acquaintances here:

  1. Don't send just 'hi/hello' to anyone. We don't know how to respond to that text.

  2. Be polite and intentful. Tell the other person if you wanna hangout or if you are curious about something else.

  3. ALWAYS talk over a call first. This will tell you more about a person (texts can never).

  4. Share the details of the person you're going to meet with a friend.

  5. Men, don't read between the lines- you will just end up embarrassing yourself.

  6. Lastly, not everything has to be about s**. People have so much more to offer if you stop thinking from your genitals.

Why would my friends talk but not hangout with me?

I (28F) made 2 'good' male friends of my vibe via reddit. With the second one we had a short 'seeing' phase but I figured things won't work out so I informed him of the same. I did ask him if he would like to continue as friends and he gave me a big yes and continue talking normally after that as well.

Both these men live kinda close to me (less than 30 mins drive) but are never enthusiastic about meeting. They will text, send silly memes but that's about it. This really infuriates me. I am a good conversationalist so um, are they in touch with me only for time pass?

Drive buddies, anyone?

I am shit scared of learning to drive, but super enthu about stepping out late at night (prolly has something to do with working remotely for 5 years now). If anyone wants to have a moderately funny companion for their driving shenanigans, I can be your girl (28yo btw)👧🏻

Who are you: Someone 25+ and preferably in South Delhi for those impromptu plans. Bonus if you're working remotely as well and have a tolerance for lame ass jokes.

Who am I and what do I bring to the table (or seat???): Snacks, food (and more food), occasional cocktails and fun stories.

We can also eventually turn this into a group thingy ( I may or may not have some or too much experience dealing with groups xD)

Anyone looking for a furry companion?

Hello everyone!

My friend in Pune is currently fostering this little lady who is about 5-6 weeks old. As much as he would love to be her 'home', he has to fly back to Delhi soon and no airline would allow her to board.

Found this fancy-ish street food spot which serves really nice chhole kulche. The price is bit higher than your regular kulche waale bhaiya but seems so worth it. They even decorate their spot with some rose petals hehe
