Got a cowboy pool (party of one) at my cabin recently, and repurposed the portable campfire shower heater to make a little hot tub.

Through forecasts calling for nothing but blue skies. I’ll take it

Some Alice In Chains via the Drew Cooper and the Whiskey Shivers, at Pony Bar in Pony, MT. Don’t get a lot of grunge covers up here, so this was a nice surprise along with Hunger Strike a few songs later

Saw this BBQ pit made of cinderblocks and bricks on Facebook market, is this an explosion waiting to happen?

Volunteered for the Pony Poker Ride last weekend, handing out cards for riders - from all over the state and beyond - attempting to collect poker hands. Brought my camera out to capture the event, here a few pictures from the day.

Couple of strips on the portable grill, veggies, and rice

Rain came through so made a pretty basic chili.

Brown the beef
Sweat an onion and green bell pepper.
Cumin
Pepper
Salt
Onion powder
Garlic powder
Chili powder
Paprika
2 cans of chopped green chilis
1 can of some kinda chili and to its salsa I picked up
1 can tomato paste
1 can of crushed tomatoes
Some beef broth
1 can of beer
2 squares of salted dark chocolate

I think that’s it?

Good crust, good enough temp and color inside. About two minutes per side with hot oil and a butter baste in the cast iron skillet
