I’m planning a build with the following components:

• Be Quiet Dark Power 14 OR Corsair RM1000w SHIFT
• Custom Be Quiet! cable 12V-2x6 / 12VHPWR 90° REVERSED (BC074) OR
• Corsair GPU 90° PCIe5 Type-5 Style B 12V-2x6 650mm 600W cable
• Gigabyte B850 AORUS STEALTH ICE (back-connect motherboard)
• Gigabyte AORUS RTX 5080 MASTER 16G
• Light Base 600 DX (in a horizontal position)

QUESTION: Will any of these two cables fit properly and safely? My concern is the deep recess of the GPU and thickness of the plastic connector.

I’m planning a build with the following components:

• Corsair RM1000x SHIFT
• Gigabyte B850 AORUS STEALTH ICE (back-connect motherboard)
• Gigabyte AORUS RTX 5080 MASTER 16G
• be quiet! Light Base 600 DX (horizontal layout)

I’m considering using the Corsair GPU 90° PCIe5 Type-5 Style B 12V-2x6 650mm 600W cable.

I have a few questions regarding compatibility and clearance:

1. Has this 90° cable been tested with the recessed 12V-2x6 connector on the Gigabyte AORUS RTX 5080 MASTER 16G? Will the connector fully seat and click into the GPU without clearance issues?
2. Is the connector head slim enough for deeply recessed Gigabyte GPU power connectors? I’m concerned about thick angled connector housings preventing full insertion.
3. Will the RM1000x SHIFT fit well in the Light Base 600 DX with enough clearance for:

• proper airflow,
• access to the back-connect motherboard connectors,
• and comfortable cable routing behind the motherboard tray?

I’m considering using the be quiet! Power Cable 12V-2x6 / 12VHPWR 90° REVERSED (BC074).

I have two questions:

1. Has the BC074 cable been tested with the recessed 12V-2x6 connector on the Gigabyte AORUS RTX 5080 MASTER 16G? Will the angled connector fully seat and click into the GPU without clearance issues?
2. Are the standard Dark Power 14 motherboard cables flexible enough for reliable use with the Gigabyte B850 AORUS STEALTH ICE back-connect motherboard? Especially regarding cable bend radius and pressure behind the motherboard tray.
