Trying my hand at watercolours. This, was my first attempt at a full piece after playing around with techniques. I watched hours of YouTube tutorials to absorb (see what I did there) as much as I could. This was using Lightwish watercolour pots on Arches hot pressed watercolor paper. It was loads of fun to try out the things I had been learning. Some successful, some not but overall I got the feeling I wanted so happy with this first attempt. I can't wait to do more. Maybe not so busy haha

Quite new to soft pastels and have built my confidence up on smaller A4/A5 size paper. I wanted to try an A3 sheet today. Canson mi teintes Velvet with Lightwish soft pastels. This was so much fun after absorbing hours of YouTube tutorials and learning to be free and trust the process. I'm really happy with the result.
