Thanks to everyone who answered my post with their experiences with the Mini MSI. I pulled the trigger and so far I’m digging it. I appreciate all the insight from everyone. Thanks again. Lynch clip should be here tomorrow as well

Pretty happy with the new Military 2 so far. Cruwear is definitely a favorite.

Excellent carry for a nice little Sunday with the wife. Taking it to Home Depot. Scope out some wallpaper. Maybe some flooring. Hit up Bed Bath & Beyond if we have enough time

I was pretty damn excited when I got the email about this DLT exclusive. I picked one up in 2020 when they did the first run and it quickly became a favorite with the LNW scales. I think I’m gonna keep this one in the factory scales. I got my Crucarta Military 2 yesterday and then this one showed up today. Guess it’s a Cruwear kinda weekend.

Gave the new Military 2 little acid dip last night. Liners and clip got a decent light, matte grey hue. But the hardware didn’t really turn out how I was hoping. I’ll give it another go down the road. A bit of wicked wax to darken the scales some. And a fresh edge at 18.5 dps finished at 1200 grit. Should have another Cruwear Delica waiting for me when I get home tonight. What’s everyone got on them today?

I didn’t think I needed a Military 2 as I’m very happy with my Native Chief and Stretch 2 XL but it was such a screaming deal I couldn’t pass it up. And I’m really happy I didn’t. I can see this quickly earning a spot in the regular line up. Just gotta fix that satin blade first.

Really digging the cobalt blue on the Salt. The midnight navy on the Spy27 isn’t the worst, but I’m gonna ride it out and see if I get used to it. Pretty sure an acid bath is in the near future. Got a Crucarta Military 2 on the way that’s gonna need some love, so maybe I’ll do it then

I won this Spy27 in raffle and figured I’d throw these AWT scales on that I had laying around. Robbed the clip off my Salt, which will be getting the cobalt blue G10 swapped on after work. Not a fan of satin blades, so I’m kinda kicking around acid washing this one. Guess it’s not too bad. I’ll see if it grows on me

I had robbed the LNW clip off of this for my Chaparral and finally replaced it. TheTradesman finish seems to be a good fit

Pic is just for attention. I’m looking for some real world, firsthand feedback from any of you who own and use your MSI Mini. I’ve been on the fence for a while and I’d rather get some insight from actual users instead of YouTube guys just trying to make a sale.

I wanted to try out the shark lock so I went a budget route to start with. And I got a screaming good deal on the PM2.

Last week the PM2 hung in there until Friday when I snuck in a Manix 2 that I had added some tritium vials too. Freebie Saturday was the good ol’ 15v Native 5. Seems like it’s one N5 or another when Saturday rolls around. Might be a bit biased I suppose. Today the Stretch 2 was on the job for some projects around the shop and yard. Such a solid knife. Definitely a favorite of mine. The random wheel went all wild and landed on the Benchmade Redoubt for the carry next week. Should be a pretty good week as I really like this knife since I swapped out the terrible factory scales. I do have some new knives coming in next week, so I’m gonna try and make it through Wednesday before I get too twitchy and swap it out. I’ll probably put the fresh deliveries on a different wheel and let it decide which one will finish out the week. After I thinned the herd of the unwanted and those I was unsure of, it’s been a lot more fun. And I’m a little more flexible with the rules. Like the midweek change up. Hope everyone had a great Sunday and starts the week out kicking ass.

Picked up some tiny tritium vials and glued them in the Flytanium cage. Guess I’ll see if they stay put through out the work day. What’s everyone rocking to start the weekend out with?

Last week with the Giant Mouse was good. It’s a great knife, no complaints and I like their micarta. I broke the the rules and carried my new Para 3 on Friday though. Oh well, I had to sneak that in for one day. Saturday’s freebie was the Manix 2 and the random wheel landed on the S45VN PM2 as the carry for next week. Pretty stoked about that one as I’ve only carried it a few times since I got it. And only once or twice since I swapped on the RGT brown linen micarta. Should be a good week. Kinda bummed I have to wait until Saturday to get my new K390 Endela in the pocket. But, thems the rules. If I follow them anyhow…. Hope everyone has a kickass week.
