This may be a bit niche. I’m looking to move to Calgary or the surrounding area next summer on IEC. I work in the wind industry and wanted to know if anyone knows the best way to find jobs in the industry in Alberta or how competitive is the market? By the time of moving I’ll have almost 4 years experience as a maintenance technician on the worlds biggest offshore windfarm, 1 of those years being an Authorised Technician (team lead, carry out isolations, troubleshooting etc.)

I’m looking to move to Canada next summer on an IEC. I was just wondering if anyone knows a rough estimate of the best time to apply in order to hopefully have one for the summer (early summer ideally). I’ve done some research but tend to find conflicting information from different sites.
