Best way to get 4 more Neophytes without buying another 2 boxes?

Hi everyone,

I originally got into Genestealer Cults through the Brood Brothers Kill Team. After painting them, I ended up really liking the faction, so I decided to start a GSC army for 40K.

I’ve already ordered 4 boxes of Neophyte Hybrids (they’re still on the way), and together with the 16 Neophytes from the Brood Brothers Kill Team, I’ll end up with 56 Neophytes.

My goal is to run three 20-model Neophyte units, so I’m only 4 bodies short.

Buying another two Neophyte boxes just to get those last four models feels really inefficient, especially since I’d end up with a huge pile of spare bits.

How do most GSC players deal with this?
Do you buy spare bodies from bits sellers?
Are there any good third-party or 3D-printed body kits?
Is there another cost-effective solution I’m overlooking?

I’d really appreciate any advice from more experienced GSC players. Thanks!

Ultramarines Veteran Heraldry confusion (Bladeguard, Sternguard & Jump Pack Veterans)

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to build a lore-accurate Ultramarines army, but I’m getting confused by the recent official heraldry.

From my understanding of the Codex Astartes:
Veterans wear white helmets.
1st Company uses white shoulder trim.
2nd Company uses gold shoulder trim.

This also matches older official examples, where Vanguard/Jump Pack Veterans were typically shown with white helmets and white shoulder trim.

However, more recent official examples seem less consistent.

For example, Bladeguard Veterans on the official box art and in the Citadel Colour app appear to have white helmets but gold shoulder trim, rather than the traditional white trim.

This has left me wondering about the current status of Veteran heraldry, especially for units like Bladeguard, Sternguard and the new Jump Pack Veterans.

So my questions are:

Has GW officially updated Ultramarines Veteran heraldry in recent years?

Is the gold shoulder trim on Bladeguard Veterans considered canonical, or is it simply an ’Eavy Metal studio choice?

Should Sternguard and Jump Pack Veterans still follow the traditional white helmet + white shoulder trim, or has there been any official guidance suggesting otherwise?

I’d really appreciate answers supported by recent Codexes, White Dwarf articles, Warhammer Community articles, or other official GW sources rather than personal preference.

Thanks in advance!

Which model is this?

I bought this from Internet and I don’t know what model is it. The seller said it is converted as a TS sorcerer.

Can anyone tell me which model converted from?
