So many socs!

i was not shortlisted for cdc. abb lag raha hai i wont make it to any good soc.

bs ye puchna tha agr mai acchi soc mei recruit naa ho pau, toh i wont get good LPs, matlab i wont get good internships? matlab i wont get good placement?

toh ye saare outspoken people (those who studied in pretty schools and already have built a decent personality) are already ahead of someone who studied in not so good school and kind of introverted and cannot lead any communication, they will forever stay ahead of person like me

dont say ki beat them by brain cuz anyone who made it to cbs alrdy has that otherwise woh yaha nahi hota.

seniors and my fellow batchmates please explain me a little

i got bfia. so from here onwards i am going to study everything aligned in finance domain. but doesnt mba offers specialization in finance, marketing..... it means when i pursue mba i will have to do it in finance and nothing else i can think of.

its not that i will hate finance in college. i made this post just to get information.

and after graduating in bfia what kind of job type am i looking at. can somebody explain me what do bfia grads do when in job.

and lastly how good is finance domain in mba. does it pay good? are there decent number of job opening for this domain? will there extremely fierce competition to get even one job? do too many people have a finance related degree in india and the job market is completely saturated?

How is Ramjas Economics.

How's the economics course at ramjas? Do students get placed? Whats the median?

I am from PCM background. Taking past year's cutoff data as reference I may get Ramjas or KMC or Venky. I also might get SSCBS. But if things go otherwise and i dont get sscbs should I take eco at any of the three college. Hows the crowd in these places. What do they do majorly, prepare for placements or gov jobs or higher studies or mba?

Or would you recommend to look for some other option for someone who wants to build a career in corporate world.

*EDIT- just tell me, is ramjas good for placements or not. and what about others KMC and venky. what will be the ranking of these three for economics placement

Help my friend. pplleeaassee

I have a friend who is always with me. Day and night. Every second. He is with me. Talks to me always. I can never silence him. He gave CUET this year. He is scoring 778. He says he has obc category. He keeps on asking will he get SSCBS or not. Will he make through the cutoff. He is really anxious. He sits beside me and asks only one question ' are you certain that I will get SSCBS' . If you are then, how certain are you?

Please help this friend of mine. He is eating me inside out.

What to do now?

I am getting 778 for sscbs. i have obc category. Many of you have told me that i will get sscbs. (i too hope that) . The problem is that the deadline to accept seat from my other exams are near. To accept a seat I need to pay them. and obviously I dont have limitless money. I will have to drop a few of them (basically every other seat).

So do you all suggest me to drop other seats (not pay seat acceptance fee) and wait for sscbs. If you all believe that my marks are borderline or cutoff this year might skyrocket , tell it to me. I want to go to SSCBS but I dont want to risk my other seats only to know later that i did not get sscbs. Please help

Should I quash my opportunity to come to SSCBS. (Please read the post, it's serious situation for me)

CUET results are out. I will most likely make it to SSCBS. I am happy. but I am actually sad. The thing is I have taken 3 drops.

I passed 12th in 2023. I had PCM so it was natural that I would prepare for JEE. I prepared and appeared for JEE 2024. I secured some 48k rank. I could have got a college, since i belong to obc category. But i did not take part in counselling. Because in 2024 for the first time I learned about IISER. I wanted to make my career in research. So i asked it from my parents if i could take an extra drop year and prepare for IAT (iiser entrance exam). They agreed. But 2025 turned out to be a bad, very bad year for my family as a whole. (there was some land dispute, a land on which our survival was more or less dependent). Though I had prepared for IAT, but I could have prepared more efficiently. Cutting the story short I was not selected in IISER . i was 74 rank behind.

I was completely shattered. Not knowing what to do ahead. my parents suggested to enroll in a local college and if i want i could appear for cuet in 2026. initial months after the result of iat, i really did nothing at all. i was just sad. questioning my decision . i felt it is completely my fault that i am not able to succeed anywhere. but i got back to studying after a few months.

My real fear right now is , though i might get selected in sscbs but am i late? will all my peers mock at me? will companies visiting campus reject me only because i have such a huge gap period that too filled with failure? Is there no hope for me if i think of pursuing MBA (i had 92 percentage in 10th, 87 in 12th) (i have been a hard working kid, its just that i got disoriented while preparing for jee) (u know those kids which overburden themself with their own expectations)

My final question is should i drop the idea of coming to sscbs and look for other career path cuz even if i get sscbs, companies eventually will reject me solely because of my big gap years. so rather than going to sscbs i should look for other career options

You may wonder why this kid dropped engineering for pursuing research and is now looking for a management degree. See i took up engineering because that was only thing i had information about (i come from a rural or suburban place of bihar, not much exposure is available in my city). i got to know about IISER only after i had given jee and the registring time for iat had passed. i gave cuet cuz i either live here in my small city or i either go out in this world and try to build a career for myself.

Should I start studying commerce subjects as a PCM student?

I am a PCM student. I have got 778 marks for SSCBS. I have OBC category. You all are telling I will get bms if not fia for syre. (I hope u all r true)

So my concern is, should I start studying Business Studies, Accountancy and Economics of class 11th and 12th in meantime. Will it help me even in small portions if i get SSCBS.

Waise bhi khali baitha hua hu. Agar aap sab recommend karo toh main padhayi chalu karu.
