Scars, What Works?

If you started with a very small chest and had a breast augmentation, PLEASE drop your before/after photos along with, if possible:
• Your height & weight
• Implant size (cc)
• Implant type/profile (Motiva Mini, Demi, Ergonomix, etc.)
• Over or under muscle / subfascial
• Your band size if you know it
• Whether you wish you went bigger or smaller
I’m 37, very lean/athletic, 5”6 around 108 lbs, shallow chest anatomy, measured for a 12.5” width implant, and currently leaning toward Motiva Ergonomix Mini 310cc subfascial for my surgery on June 24.
My biggest fear is waking up and feeling like they’re too small or there is not enough upper pole 😭 but when I tried the next size up (380cc Demi), they started feeling too wide/heavy on my frame.
I was recommended not to go round to avoid a drop of or shelf look. Slight possibility I may need a fat transfer after.
Would especially love responses from girls with:
• visible rib cages
• small tissue to start
I was gifted some of the Epicutis and have previously used the lipid serum from my injector. Is this low end with a high end price tag?
I have also heard it may be a MLM?
Thoughts?
Just had my breast augmentation consultation and my thoughts are kind of all over the place, so I’d love opinions or experiences from anyone similar to me.
For reference, I’m 37, about 108 lbs, very lean/athletic, and I stay extremely lean on top even when I gain weight. I currently wear a 32B push-up bra, but realistically without padding I’m probably closer to an A cup. My chest is also pretty shallow and you can see a lot of my rib cage, which is part of why I’m nervous about implants looking too “stuck on” or like round balls on my chest.
For reference, if you want to look her up, my inspiration photo is Emily Ratajkowski because I love how hers look, although I’d maybe want slightly more upper pole fullness than that. My biggest concerns are:
• breasts ending up too far apart
• a harsh drop from chest to breast
• visible rippling/edges because I’m so lean uptop
• going too small and wishing I had done more
The surgeon recommended Motiva Ergonomix Mini implants, 310cc, placed subfascially. He said because of my anatomy and how lean I am, he thought the Ergonomix would give the most natural teardrop-like result and help avoid that super round look. Subfascial technique so when I work out, there’s not a bunch of animation in my breasts.
For sizing context, I measured around 13 cm width wise, and apparently 310cc was basically the largest option in the Mini profile that properly fit my measurements. We also looked at a 380cc Demi Ergonomix in the Crisalix 3D, which definitely projected more forward and looked a little fuller. Part of me worries the 310 will end up too subtle, but another part of me worries bigger implants will ripple.
Honestly, I almost feel like I’d trust the doctor to make the final call between the two sizes once I’m actually on the table because I’m so torn not knowing what they’re really gonna look like even with the 3D mock up..
Does anyone here have experience with:
• Motiva Ergonomix implants?
• subfascial placement?
• being very lean with wider ribs/shallow tissue?
• debating between “natural” and wanting a little extra femininity/fullness?
Also… is it normal to only get one consultation if you really like the surgeon? I honestly liked him a lot and he seemed extremely qualified and realistic with me, but everyone says to get multiple consults so now I’m second guessing myself. I do think I’ll schedule a second consult with him to talk through sizing again before deciding.
Would love honest feedback or experiences from anyone with a similar body type. Thx
Hey everyone! I’m going in for a breast augmentation consultation on Tuesday and I feel unprepared on what I should be asking. I’m also supposed to come in with an idea of the look I want, which feels overwhelming honestly 😅
For anyone who’s had one done what do you wish you would have asked during your consult? Any advice on implant profiles, recovery, scarring, regrets, things you loved, or anything you didn’t even know to consider beforehand?
Would love any tips or things you learned through the process! Thx
I spent years trying every under eye corrector concealer and brightening trick possible and nothing really touched the blue tone under my eyes. It would just settle into fine lines and honestly make me look more tired.
I finally did one PDGF under eye treatment and this is my before and after about 1-2 months post treatment after everything settled. I definitely want to do one more round and I think that’ll get me exactly where I want to be. My provider did not want to use filler and go the regenerative route.
Now I can get away with just SPF and skin tint instead of layering color corrector concealer powder and praying it doesn’t crease by noon.
Have you tried this treatment or had any luck with any others?
Thought I’d share. Your thoughts?
