As the title says, a company (Balcons Idéal) dropped a balcony on my bicycle and also damaged some schrubs while doing a job. Schrubs can regrow, but not my bike that needs repair and is not usuable right now. I've got a quote from bike shop, 'called them, left a formal complain, texted them, emailed them with photos and details of the incident + quote... but no update after 2 weeks. Repair is 300 dollars and bike is my main mode of transportation.

(They used a crane on a day with 35-50km wind, balcony sort of flew away with a strong wind, Isuspect they know what they did was dangerous)

Any advice? Perhaps enough bad reviews on Google will wake them up?

The flat I rent is in a building that is for sale which occasionnaly has visits from the real estate broker and potential buyers. The broker contacted me a 9pm one day to ask for a visit the next day at 6pm, I said it's not possible mainly because he was'nt respecting the mandatory 24h notice for a visit and that did't give me enough time to tidy up, he answered okay no problem.

The next day, while I was at home, the broker gets into my apartment with buyers. I confront him and remind him our conversation from the day before and he says oh sorry I got in the wrong appartement. I found out he also entered an other apartment without notifying the tenants beforehand. What can be done?

My first time in years visiting Toronto, is this a normal thing? My driver for the Toronto-Mtl (6h) ride was legit watching videos during the drive and also carrying 6 passengers... I was livid but somehow for the driver it seemed like completely normal behaviour as he even had his phone install sideways for better view? see pic in comments.
