I 23M, am in the Navy and have been living with my parents for the past 8 months since I’m stationed near home. I don’t smoke, drink, or really cause any trouble. That's a bit of context on me.

Since I’m a pretty boring ass guy, I also dress basic af. Plain black, white, maybe blue for special days.

Recently, I decided to upgrade my wardrobe a bit. I went out to Goodwill and bought a few graphic tees. I field tested them yesterday. The second I came out of my room, my parents hated it.

They told me I looked stupid and needed to go change. I just told them "meh it’s not that deep" and tried to move on.

The t-shirt isn’t suggestive or inappropriate at all, it just has a wacky design on the front.

They didn’t like my response and kept pushing the issue because they had some guests coming over later that day. I told them I wasn't wearing anything insane and that the average Gen-Z kid dresses way crazier.

Now, we’re Indian, so my parents started going off on me about how, I don’t look respectable for someone in the military. How I’m trying too hard to be "American" and… "Black"? and how the white people here will never accept me. Which makes no sense cuz I am American, like I wasn’t from india so why would I act Indian.

They were essentially going full Klan member on me over this fuckass shirt lol.

So I just told them "fine i'll change it" and went back to my room.

When the guests arrived later that day, I came out wearing another shirt I had bought, which was even more egregious than the first one. And what do you know, no one gave a shit. Except for my parents, of course. I had to leave for work later that night anyway, so the fun ended pretty quickly.

I was genuinely going to swap out the shirt to something more bland when the guests would’ve arrived, if it weren’t for all that shit they were talking.

Now this is the first time I’ve ever really done anything like this, so I genuinely don’t know if what I did was extra or not. My parents pride themselves in being very proper and formal and I just show up looking like a stoner.

I just came to the realization that more than 90% of my time is spent on crafting system prompts, building lore books, and characters and the actual roleplay is less than 10%. I have more fun building out the entire lore and personality. Then it comes to the actual roleplay part and I get bored in 30 minutes lol. I build all that shit out and realize the models aren’t as good as I expected them to be, then repeat the cycle.

4.3 just went public for API? Has anyone tried it yet? If so how is it? It seems pretty cheap. And has decent benchmarks.
