How did aang have friends all over the world at 12 before learning he was the avatar?

From my limited understanding, the air nomads are extremely isolated from the rest of the world, and aang was known to be the avatar very early, so he likely would have been kept safe at the temples while he mastered air bending. So how did he have a friendship with bumi, and also had been to the fire nation? Did he go himself? Did he travel with monks?

How much temperature control do benders have over their respective elements (on average, and for the most talented benders/specialists)

I was just reading a different post about steam bending and it got me wondering, how much temperature control over each element do benders have? Water benders can turn water into ice, and ice into water. But how warm can they make the water? Can they bring it to the boiling point? And fire benders (I think) can produce different intensitys of heat. Iroh warms tea, and we see some extremely hot fire blasts from talented benders. Can air benders change air temperature, and can earth benders make really cold or warm dirt? (I know lava bending exists, but I'm not familiar with it to know any specifics of it but that might answer that question (?))

Opinions on mana bullying?

I was just reading on mana bullying, and I was wondering what the general community consensus is on it, on a couple different possible scenarios

Scenario a: player A is attempting a win, player B can stop it but doesn't say anything hoping that players C or D can stop it. Player C passes priority, Player D is about to pass priority, and then player B reveals they have interaction and asks Player D to float 1 mana to reset priority.

Scenario b: same starting conditions as scenario a, but this time Player B demands player D float all of there mana.

Scenario c: same starting conditions once again, but this time Player B demands D float all there mana, and then does the same to Player C in another round of priority

And finally, scenario d: the same scenario as c, but a draw is offered as well, since player B will likely be able to win on there turn as both opponents would be forced to float all mana to not immediately lose.

What are your thoughts on these scenarios, at both local cEDH events for small prizes (a couple of packs or some store credit) or larger events, like win a duels or large tournaments?
