Phone number un-verifying itself, unenrollment from text alerts
I signed up for Schwab text alerts this morning. Not sure if I completed the process, but I got a confirmation email saying I enrolled. Tonight I received an email saying I was unenrolled, which I did not do. When I logged in, my phone number was no longer available as a 2FA option, only the mobile app or a call to Schwab. I also noticed a yellow warning triangle next to my phone number in my contact info, saying it's unverified, even though it's been my 2FA method since I opened the account. I re-enrolled in text alerts and accidentally did it twice, so now I'm getting duplicate notifications. I've contacted Schwab about the unauthorized unenrollment. Has anyone seen the unverified phone number/missing 2FA issue before? Is this a known glitch?
