It seems like a few years ago trad pubs were everywhere. Whats your favorite Calgary pub?

Just what the question asked. I rate smokehouses on their brisket and I’ve been to what everyone says are the “best spots” (Hayden Block, Jane Bond etc..) and have never had a good piece of brisket at any of them.

Why such a gap in the market? Why in the land of the coveted prime Alberta beef is it impossible to find good BBQ in this province? I see an untapped opportunity for someone to swoop in and make take advantage of this pain point.

Hey everyone, I’m looking to get smarter with my finances and investing, and I’m wondering if anyone in the Cayman Islands would be willing to give some free advice or point me in the right direction.

I’m not working with a huge amount of money — realistically I only have a couple hundred dollars extra each month to invest — but I’d rather start small than keep doing nothing. I’m mainly looking for guidance on where to begin, what to avoid, and how to make better long-term financial decisions.

Not looking for handouts or “get rich quick” stuff, just hoping to learn from people who know more than I do. Thanks in advance.

Do you think the new arena will raise condo prices in the immediate vicinity of the new Calgary arena? I own a condo in Keynote and I’m trying to decide if I should sell or wait until the arena is completed. Thoughts?
