2008 Impreza 2.5L (auto) with 220,000 km question: Mechanic says it's dead at 150k km even with replaced Head Gaskets. True?

Hey everyone. Looking into a 2008 Impreza 2.5L (auto) with 220,000 km. The seller has proof that the Head Gaskets and Timing Belt were done at ~135,000 km. My local mechanic is heavily warning me against the EJ253, saying they constantly leak coolant or blow up past 150k, and that I'll need another timing belt right now. How many km do these engines actually last after a proper HG fix? Need it to be a reliable daily.

Is a 2008 Subaru Impreza (2.5L) a financial suicide for delivery work if Head Gaskets were already done?

Hi everyone!
Looking at a 2008 Impreza Hatchback, ~220k km, $5,000 CAD. The Head Gaskets and Timing Belt were replaced at 135k km. I need a reliable car for Uber Eats for 1-2 years. My mechanic told me to run away because these engines are junk after 150k km and blow up anyway. Is he right, or does the previous HG replacement make this a safe bet? I'm in a tough financial spot and can't afford a blown engine.
What do you think? Thanks!
