First day as a hotel front desk associate tomorrow, any advice?

Hello everyone, I just graduated high school and tomorrow is my first day working at a hotel as a front desk associate. I’m super excited, but also really nervous because all of my previous jobs have been in customer service like a coffee shop, and a boutique. This feels like my first “real” business job, so it’s definitely outside my comfort zone.

I’m majoring in Business, so I’m really excited because I feel like this could be a great stepping stone toward my career. At the same time, I’m worried about making mistakes or freezing up since everything will be so new.

What should I expect during my first few days? What are some things you wish someone had told you before starting at the front desk? Any tips for calming first-day nerves or learning everything faster?

I went out and bought some business casual clothes because I wanted to make a good first impression. 😅

I’d love to hear any advice or stories from people who have worked hotel front desk before. Thanks so much!

Is this normal? - rhinoplasty

I got my rhinoplasty back in January and the first picture is what my nose looked like a few weeks after my cast removal and then the last few pictures are five months postop. It seems that my nose appears bigger, especially in the tip and the bridge. Is this normal or is a swelling? Will it go away or be more defined again?

To the people who are saying “oh well he was controversial “ yall need to stfu.. we are all human and had all said stuff that’s wrong / controversial. Doesn’t mean you deserve death. I’m not a fan of Oliver tree but it makes me so sad when someone literally just died and people are saying oh well he deserves it. No one does. God bless Oliver tree may he rest in peace . sorry I just had to rant

Coworkers gossiping/making fun of my appearance

I’m a recent hire and when I first started, I became really close with a few coworkers around my age. Recently I found out some of the girls at work have been talking about me behind my back. One coworker listed multiple coworkers talking about me and included herself. Then when I confided in what I thought was my friend she went and told my coworker and that coworker got mad at me and started attacking and harassing me. Saying that I started talking shit about her first. Now the environment feels really awkward and cliquey. I have screenshots of some comments, but I don’t know if bringing them to my manager would make me look dramatic or immature. When I got hired we had to sign stuff about professionalism/respect toward coworkers. Would you guys let it go unless it continues, or would you talk to a manager now? I’m honestly just tired of the toxic drama and want to work in peace.
