Does this amplifier have a death cap?
I have a '75 Silverface Super Reverb with this "Ground" switch on the back, I've never touched the switch in the 20 years that I've had this amp, it was given to me and I'm just wondering if this is indicative of an amp that has a death cap.
This is the controls cavity of my 2002 Les Paul Special. I see these capacitors have a value marked 223, what exactly does this capacitor do and what would happen if I changed it to a higher value?
