D2R PvP Concept — New Team-Based Game style!

D2R PvP Concept — New Team-Based Game style!

We've brainstormed a team-based PvP style in Diablo II: Resurrected that is conceptually like a capture the flag, but in this case "capture the ear," mixed with a tower defense

The basic idea/rules:

  1. Teams of 3–4 players.

  2. Each team has 1 player as the "Tower," which is either a playable level 9 character, or simply a stationary high-level character to be chopped down. They will be stationed near their teams portal.

  3. The remaining 2-3 players on each team are level 30 attackers/defenders.

  4. Each team must protect its own Tower while trying to kill the enemy Tower.

  5. If you encounter an enemy that is not the tower, then you must engage them in combat.

  6. If you win/survive the engagment, then you can continue toward the enemy Tower, or until you encounter another enemy.

  7. If you die, then you may respawn and return to the match through your designated teams portal.

  8. The first team to kill the opposing Tower wins the match.

Ideas for maps:

  • River of Flame is one possible map because of its narrow path (obviously no utilizing way points to flank the enemy - this is funneled head to head match).

Finally:

I'm looking for people willing to test this mode!

There are still some rules to work out, especially Tower balance, respawning, and map boundaries.

Are interested in trying it? What would you change to make it more fun and fair?

This is an experimental PvP style - we need a few volunteers to follow the simple rules and have fun.

If we can figure it all out, then a offical video will be made of the rules and an example of how the match works.

Thanks for reading ✌️

Where to find LLD gear?

This is pertaining to D2R lvl 30 LLD rares.

I used an item drop calculator and it seemed the best place is nightmare in the tombs for ilvl 48, which will give me the best drop chance for an erep naga for lvl 30 LLD.

But its a slow unrewarding grind. Am I on the right track, or should I just switch to farming hell and hope some good rares drop that are lvl 30 or below?

Any tips, advice, and theories (where you find items) is welcomed. Thx ✌️

What in the h*ll am i looking at?

This PVC pipe was dripping a little water and seems to be doing nothing at all?

What is this thing. I believe it goes outside like some type of venting pipe, but its not hooked up to anything.

Should I just cut and cap the pipe?

Thanks ✌️

Running LBS wonderfalls @ 4.3?

Hi 👋

Heading out to the river today. I was curious if it is ok to run the LBS wonderfalls @ 4.3?

We would just go for the falls, then hike out.

I appreciate any input - thanks ✌️
