Amflow PR carbon Pro, should i grab it?

Hi. After some years on ordinary mtbs, i started checking for emtbs as im getting older last weekend. After a couple of days searching, looks like a Amf PR carb pro is quite ok for what you pay. So i tried to find them for 2-3 days, but seems hard as hell to get one. Suddenly after two days searching, thus friday one local dealer got one, in my size.

I can hold it until tomorow, as i wanted to be sure its decent for me. Should i grabb it? Anyone had serious problems with the bike? Is there options that are quite much better for the price?

Im getting old and lazy, and the m2s sounds quite fun. (I know, prob to strong etc, but i yolo this)

Primitivo vs GR10 and HRP

Primitivo VS GR 10 and HRP?

Hi, i have done gr10 and HRP when i was 30 years old. Now im 54, thinking of primitivo. Is it comparable to the pyrenees? Rememer loads of heightmeter on the gr 10, but im older now and not in the same shape as i was 30. I want a long trexk, somd mountains but not to crowded. Going in mid april, solo.

Need feedback regarding strategy on index.

Hi. Im livetesting a strategy that i have backtested to the 80s. It uses some "unusuall" logic regarding go long and take profit. (Volume and volatility is included)

Its backtested on indexes, and stocks. Also backtested in different periods, bear, bull, chop and different settings( no curve fitting, i hate that). It beats indexes over time, and does even better on x2 certificates on indexes. (Also run in python and Tradingview). PF is 2- 3.5. Great on indexes, good on low voalitility stocks. Not so good on high volatility stocks.

If im using ema over 300, gives best since the 80s (no trades dot com 2001, 2008 and 2022) and still beats market last 15 years, 2022 gave a smaller loss then indexes, with and without ema. However, its realy great without ema on last 18 years, covid, 2025 april crash etc and these incidents acctually gives me great returns. These dips go under 300 ema and no trades with ema filter

So best over 40 years= no trades under 300 ema. Best since 2009, no ema filter. And its quite much better than with ema since 09. How would you trade the next long under 300 ema? I think i will. But statisticaly wrong call.

Decent returns?

Hi. Im quite old, 55 and have done trading since the 80s. Now im puling back to safer investments than pure stocks. Altough, i have some strategies giving decent returns on long swing trades. I backtested on loads of data in python, 50 stocks and all big indexes. In a bull market, i earn less they buy abd hold, on flat markets i get decent returns, and a small gain on bear markets. Over long time, buy and hold is better. I have also tested them live for a year with decent returns. (Not only on bull stocks)

As i dont want to risk to much, im thinking of doing this instead. No trades, maybe some short, in bear market. Only trade flat or bull, pure trailing tp on roghly 4%. This gives me less then buy and hold, but im out in bear markets. Any other older persons with the same mindset?
