OZLO2 on a flight

So I’m am still so impressed with the new version. I bought three sets on kickstarter on the V1’s and had some of the struggles most have had. For me the company always went above and beyond to take care of issues and kept doing upgrades to make things better. For the most part my version 1’s performed as advertised. Now that i have a set of the two’s I am so much more impressed. I just flew with them and got stuck in ORD overnight and used them all night to block out the terrible noise pollution. Then on the trans-Atlantic flight they were life savers blocking out all the noise and 8.5 hours later still had 43% battery left. The volume adjustments and sound quality are 500% better then gen1. Only thing would be nice to have built in Apple find my tech for tracking them if needed.

What is going on with AcuRite??

It’s pouring here in Undiana this week and my weather station is not recording rain. One day it showed .78 inches then it went to zero. The new app is total CR@P. This company is having some serious issues. My tempest is luckily keeping me up to date.

Well it's finally here!

Unboxing was easy, then added it and set everything up. I ordered the SM band and may have messed up. I have small wrists and this is so far fairly tight and uncomfortable. I'll wear it tonight and see how it goes. Expectation is low due to all the posts and reviews. Im sure Garmin will update the firmware and get better over time. Went for this band and it's more purple in person then mauve or skin tone. Not bad though.

Ozlo Actually Listened: V2 Sleepbuds Review From a Power User

I’ve owned pretty much every brand and iteration of sleep buds since the category first came to market. One feature I've always wanted was reliable Bluetooth streaming without compromises. Add in comfort, battery life, and dependable sleep tracking, and you've got a winning formula.

In my opinion, Ozlo has absolutely knocked it out of the park with the V2s.

The sound quality is significantly improved over the first generation. The ability to fine-tune audio levels is a game changer, especially for air travel where you may need more noise masking than usual.

The charging case is much better looking, and the addition of the button on the case gives you more control without having to fumble for your phone in the middle of the night. Another major improvement is connectivity. The buds remain connected much farther away from the case than Gen 1, and if they do disconnect, they reconnect almost instantly and without fail.

The redesigned app is also a huge step forward. Navigation is cleaner, there's a much larger sound library, and all of the sounds seem noticeably better than before. I've also been impressed with the sleep tracking and environmental monitoring features. Data transfer is fast too, usually taking less than a minute after I wake up.

Battery life has exceeded my expectations. After streaming audio all night, I typically wake up after about eight hours and still have more than 50% battery remaining. The buds also consistently connect and charge properly when placed in the case, something that wasn't always a given with some past products in this category.

In closing, it's clear that the team at Ozlo listened to user feedback and addressed many of the shortcomings of the original version. I own two sets of Gen 1 Sleepbuds, and since receiving the V2 test units, I haven't felt the need to use either of them.

Bottom line: If you've been waiting for sleep buds that combine great Bluetooth streaming, excellent comfort, strong battery life, reliable sleep tracking, and a much more polished user experience, the Ozlo V2s are the closest thing I've seen yet to the complete package.
