free travel?

hi all!
so i was recently awarded disability allowance and i was given free travel. i haven’t used it yet, because im just nervous on how it works - this might be a really stupid question but how do you guys present it without feeling offensive 😭 it feels so rude “hey let me on by the way i’m paying NOTHING for this service”

also … do i tap to register i went on or just show my card or what.. i dont want to make a fool of myself and as you probably can tell i am not good at social queues in the slightest.. anyone with a free travel card pleeease let me know how it’s been for u!

disability allowance question

hi all!! today i found out i got accepted for disability allowance and my pay should begin the 2nd of September, to be collected from the post office.

i am going away on holidays from the 31st to the 14th of september, and i’m not sure if i need to contact the department to tell them of this (or how) and if it effects my payment. i changed my payment method to straight to my bank but i don’t know if i need to make my first payment collection in person or something

any advice helps thank you!

disability allowance

Hi all,

i applied for DA originally in january, and i got denied in may. i submitted my appeal on the 7th of july, and its been registered the whole time since.

Was really curious on your guys experience with appeals, and what evidence you submitted with the appeal that got you accepted.

i’ve got support letters from my therapist, best friend, school and GP. they all explain the struggles i go through daily and how in result i won’t be able to work, they’re all very thorough and covers everything that stops me, basically just the waiting game for me now. Is there anything else everyone added that i should get onto?

I’ve contacted my local TDs, they’ve replied and sent a reminder. but it’s still at the awkward first stage of being waited to be seen by the officer.

Please let me know your experiences! if there’s anything helpful that you can remember you submitted as evidence, i might add it onto mine.

Thanks!

disability allowance appeal

Hi all, just wanted to hear about your guys experience with applying for disability allowance.

I submitted my DA appeal on the 4th july, and had it appear as “registered” on the 8th, and it’s now the 26th. does anyone know at what stage i’d hear back or if i can contact to know the stage my appeal is at?

I’m applying for DA under me having Autism (diagnosed as level 2 support needs) and i am eighteen, only diagnosed this january. My initial appeal was rejected for not having medical reasoning, so i supplied therapist notes, school absence notes (like 104 absent days within my 6th year) and a comprehensive list of my traits/symptoms that basically just detail how i am medically not fit for work. Ive worked with a charity (shine in cork) to help me compile my appeal

I have a very strong response for appeal in my humble opinion, so im kind of believing ill be accepted since it basically destroyed all their reasoning on not accepting me, so im kind of talking on that assumption.

basically im just wondering how long its taken everyone else to get their appeals seen to, is there anything i can do in the meantime to push it along? all in all ive not provided a lot of extra evidence, but its all strong so i cant imagine it would take a long time to file through to get seen to. I’ve heard that there are 21 days since the date the appeal is processed for the deciding officer to see to it before it gets passed onto an appeals officer, if not seen to in time. I’m not very sure, i’m here to know if there’s anything i can do to help aid my chances of getting my appeal accepted within the first review instead of with the appeals officer.

pretty please give me any of your experiences, if there is any way i can email to contact i’d love that too!!

Hey all, i found a really weird rabit hole on the name of “ladimystica”. i managed to find two accounts through digging, there doesn’t seem to be one main, but one is private and one’s public. myssmystika is private, and the other is public. also realised there’s another with no following/follows and no like, just the same person.

basically it’s some type of fetish content, it must be. every video is them exploring the woods, with a mask and wig, sitting down, and panning down their legs. in the private account, there’s actually some with a visible bulge, which they rarely touch, just pan the camera over. videos are in the same place and there’s also a room commonly used with 2/3 other mannequins with masks and wigs. mystica “communicates” with them and holds her face to them, with disco lights

they slightly revealed their face on their private account, it being a masculine looking person with raggedy hair empty eyes.

hashatgs used is #mistica #pantyhose #lesbian #lady #witch #nobra and a bunch of others.

the thing is, the people they’re following on this account is really weird (maybe usual for accounts that like weird things and rabbit holes with one reposting the start of a gorey movie, aswell as a bunch of intentionally disturbing things. they follows accounts that post videos of girls with sleek legs, exploration videos that are poorly disguised fetish videos, and more. they also potentially follow teens? or young adults, generally normal accounts and i believe they’re unaware

an online search gives nothing. the name supposedly reads

US Popularity:11455. Origin:British. Meaning:Mysterious, secret, mystical. There's no mystery behind the feminine name Mystica. Deriving from the English word "mystic”

wondered if any of this piqued ur interest. honestly i’m as lost as you all.

I'm looking for brands that carry pretty formal gowns in a goth style! I like a more Victorian style, but I'm open to anything. No straight up costumes, please. I've checked out some brands but they didn't have anything formal enough for what I'd like. It also doesn't have to be a specifically "goth brand", but darker formal gowns in general. I love anything black and purple haha, and id want size around 2xl
