Gamesir G7 SE stick resolution

I was testing the resolution of my new G7 SE with Stick Analyzer.

This was the result:

Duration: 18.65 seconds

Total data points: 201

Straight move points: 199

Tremor: 1.0%

Linearity: 94.6%

Stick Resolution: 210

Step Resolution: 0.00474

These are quiet low it seems.

Deegital Tech on YouTube has like 10 times more datapoints?

I went ahead and tested my old Xbox Controller and even that had higher results:

Duration: 8.24 seconds

Total data points: 385

Straight move points: 385

Tremor: 0.0% Linearity: 96.7%

Stick Resolution: 408

Step Resolution: 0.00245

Am I something missing? I put the polling on 500 hz for the Gamesir G7 SE so I can still enjoy the native trigger rumble (that is disabled at 1000 hz) but even when I tested at 1000 hz it still gave these rather low results.

Thanks in advance!

I can choose a new smartphone from work. These are the options:

S25 (If I wait 2 months)
S25 Enterprise
S25 FE
Pixel 10
FairPhone 6

Important is that I can still sideload apps (also in the future). Therefor I think the Pixel phones are out of the equation.

I don't know if FairPhone is good, read about buggy OS.

The S25 line seems next best thing but then I don't know if it is worth to wait 2 monhts for the S25.

Thanks in advance!

I am torn between choosing the G7 Pro, Cyclone 2 or G7 SE...

I really want the better sticks of the first 2 but I also want the quieter buttons of the G7 SE...

I have watched nearly every 'sound test' comparison video I can find on youtube and sometimes the buttons seem louder then a normal Xbox controller (which I have now) and sometimes it seems louder.

There is also a difference in how you press face buttons for example. I have a Wolverine V1 at home (buttons broken) but it does also have mechanical buttons. When pressing the facebuttons more aggressive and fast these buttons seem quieter then the regular membrane buttons of an xbox controller. The clacky rattling sound is not present on these mechanical buttons.

I even found a comparison video of the G7 PRO vs an Xbox controller:

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/78X6v0LvVp4

At the end where they are just pressing random buttons it seems the G7 PRO seems a lot quieter then the clacky membrane buttons of the Xbox controller.

I also saw some comments somewhere that the Cyclone 2 buttons are also clicky but a bit less tight so they also get that membrane clacky sound.

The G7 SE also seems very good but I think I will regret not having these good TMR sticks.

I do play casually but I also want to improve in using a controller for FPS.

The reason the sound is so important is because my GF sits in another couch next to me. (She said she liked the noise of the mechanical swiches better from the Wolverine V1 vs the Xbox controller when pressing buttons more rapid/aggresive)

Could someone please enlighten me before I make a final choice 😃

I am looking for a replacement for my Xbox One controller I have been using on PC for years. Love the shape and feel of the controller and was looking at all these third party controllers from 8BITDO and Gamesir for a good replacement for my current controller. (buttons wearing out and stick drift)

I have some criteria tho:
- Needs to resemble the shape/comfort of the normal Xbox One/Series controller. (Has been the most comfortable controller for me. I have small hand but the shape fits perfectly.)
- I game in the couch next to my GF and she hates the clicky sounds from some peripherals I had in the past so I rather not have these clicky buttons on my controller. (If the clicky sound is quiet and not so noticeable I think it would be okay)
- I'll be using it mostly for casual gaming. Maybe some casual BF6 but for the most part I play flick shooters with my keyboard and mouse anyway. It's for all the rest that I use a controller.
- Good smooth light sticks
- Buying from Belgium in Europe (so a lot of these chinese brands are not for sale here)
- Plug & Play, don't care about macro's or customizing a lot, it just needs to perform its best straight out of the box and without a lot of calibrating
- Budget is less then 100 euro's
- Needs to work native on PC like a normal Xbox Controller

I have been researching a bit but it's quiet overwhelming.

My choice was between the 8BITDO Ultimate 2 and the Gamesir Cyclone 2 or the G7 Pro.

I always had the U2 in my mind as my follow up controller (cheap and a lot of features and TMR sticks) but after some researching it seems the shape is more catered toward Nintendo Switch Pro controller then an Xbox controller... The handles seem so short and parallel of each other so I am worried it will not be as comfortable when gaming for longer sessions.

On the other side the Gamesir Cyclone 2 or G7 PRO have superb sticks it seems (also pretty light) and most important almost the same shape then the normal Xbox controller (flared out handles + the triggers/bumpers design)... But the one thing holding me back from just getting Cyclone 2 or even the G7 Pro are the clicky microswitches for the facebuttons etc. They seem loud (also reviews state they are load) and I am worried this is gonna annoy my GF or also myself (I use open-ear headset)....

So I don't know which one will be my follow up controller... The dream controller for me would be just the normal Xbox controller I have now but with these good TMR sticks from Gamesir.
