Mouse wheel for melee
Anyone else do this? I have melee bound to scrolling the mouse wheel, it has a nice tactile feeling a bit like jamming a drill into someone, seems appropriate.

We broke our Cumming, and I just wanted to enquire on the likelihood of me seeing a Cumming this weekend, or if there will be no Cumming at all on Saturday.
Also to avoid confusion, what is the plural of Nankervis. Do we refer to them as Nankervises or Nankervii?
Cult figure status regularly causes sports fans to selectively remember how a player performed over their entire career, a phenomenon that certainly applies to Pendles. His long lived career from 2006 to the 2025 Qaulifier and the 2026 season are rightfully applauded, but it is a disservice to compare this career with the sustained excellence of legends who were top liners for a single game or more. Here are the facts-
Take out 2006-2025 QF and the 2026 season and you get
1 games
0 finals wins
0 disposals.
0 tackles.
0 fantasy points.
3% time on ground.
Compared to Bill James (1920 VFL).
1 game.
1 premiership.
1 goal.
1 time shooting himself in the leg.
This is not to say we should minimise that unprecedented stretch, but rather that there needs to be a clear distinction between a prime and a career, particularly since you cannot put anywhere near as a small blanket over any everything James, Relton Roberts or Nick Jewell did in the game, nor could youl do it to an all time great in any other sport.
How can you honestly say someone is the greatest finals player of all time when 100% of their prelim finals in 2025 ended without a finals win??
Give me your best stigs for green one.
I finally got to level 100. I hit 90 a loong time ago so decided to start queueing all roles which meant i've been a tank main.
I've managed to get my Junkerqueen from rank 2 to rank 69 (giggity) and my Juno from 2 to 25 in the time it took to get my Venture from about 93 to 100.
Anyway, feels good. I just queued DPS today and spent the arvo munching rocks.
Pacific Rim Uprising would have been a better movie if it had Cherno Alpha and the three armed red one in it.
1v2 and we showed our metal. Great win by the lads
It looks like a dish sponge underneath, about the size of the palm of my hand. Just curious what it is if anyone can help.
There seem to be a lot of articles and comments and posts here claiming that scheduling the Saints v Giants at the same time as the soccer affected attendance. I wanted to see if that was actually born out by the numbers. To get enough data I'm going to use the Suns as a comparative expansion interstate team and the roos as a comparitive melbourne team because this is the first time the Saints played the Giants in a long time at marvel.
2026: Saints v Giants. Crowd: 17,748 at Marvel Stadium.
2025: Saints v Suns. Crowd: 13,486 at Marvel Stadium.
2024: Saints v Suns. Crowd: 17,992 at Marvel Stadium.
2023: Saints v Suns. Crowd: 21,049 at Marvel Stadium.
2019: Saints v Suns. crowd: 20,291 at Marvel Stadium.
For North.
2026: North v Suns. Crowd: 16,260 at Marvel Stadium.
2024: North v Suns. Crowd: 17,781 at Marvel Stadium.
2022: North v GWS. crowd 13742 at Marvel.
Tl;dr the world cup didn't make any noticable difference to attendance for Saints v GWS. It got a crowd that was pretty much bang on what you get for a smaller melbourne team vs an expansion interstate team at Marvel. It turns out there will generally be about 17k people that go to these games regardless of the soccer being on or not.
It may very well have affected viewership numbers, but if that's the case, then use those numbers to argue, not attendance.
Thinking about Blues goal of flying by the end of the year. Repairing the pad is very ambitious in the 7 months left, but at the very least it's all "known quantities". There is nothing overly surprising that needs to happen, it just needs to happen. It's the sort of problem that you can in fact solve by throwing an obscene amount of money at in order to get all the replacement bits and have people available to put them together.
The elephant in the room to me is that the rocket just exploded on the pad at a time when it shouldn't have. It wasn't like there was an easy thing to point the finger at to say why it happened (as far as I know).
So that to me suggests the critical item in the 7 months is figuring out exactly why it went boom, fixing the boom causer, and then testing to endure it's corrected before the next flight. If that's not done then there is a chance that your brand new recently repaired pad gets levelled again.
Is 7 months enough time to figure that out? (Also if there is more info on the why that would suggest that it's not such a problem point me to it),
Some serious structure out there.
Lol, no, there isn't one.
The draw is awesome,
- You get to play the draw song. Note that this is a good enough argument to make the rest superfluous.
- Collingwood and Hawks are probably going to feature in the spicy end of the season. Having the draw adds in awesome leapfrogging abilities on the ladder which is more interesting than just percentage, which is hard to figure out without a calculator.
- It's traditional. It's been in the game for a long time, even longer than traditions like Richmond v Carlton in round one.
- Other sports have it and it works out fine. There is only one sport I can think of where the draw can cause rioting and killing and that's soccer. But wins, losses, your favourite boating supply shop being sold out of flares, wearing the wrong colours to the wrong pub and days ending in y also cause soccer fans to have violent tantrums so I don't think it counts.
- The silence of a draw is a spectacle all in itself. When you're at the footy with your Nan' and she has been constantly screaming saying "won't those ******* **** ***** barracking for the ******* ********** shut the **** up" you can say "See Nan' they do shut up sometimes". You might get a clip around the ear if you do this though.
- Jack Riewoldt wants to keep the draw, he likes it. I know some people don't like Jack so they might not like agreeing with him.
