Mystic Messenger came out when I was 18 and I played it for the first time when I was 19.

Because it’s been 10 years since the game came out, I’ve mentally aged up all the characters 10 years because when this started, I was younger than Yoosung, and now I’m older than Jumin.

In my head it makes sense that all these characters are aged up: Jumin and V feel like they could be well into their 30s, almost 40, while Yoosung and the twins are maybe 30/31.

Idk. Maybe this is just my way of coping the fact that I’m 10 years older and they (technically) aren’t and trying to still feel like I’m younger than them.

Idk what Cheritz recommends, but my order of playthrough will be Jaehee, Zen, Yoosung, Jumin, Seven, V, and Saeran. My reason for that order is it’s all based on how well they each knew Rika.

Rika running away to start Mint Eye was essentially her breaking up with V, leaving her job, moving out of state, dropping contact with their old friend group, and starting a new job (if we put this in an everyday scenario, cult aspect aside).

V then followed her to where she was, stalked her for months, and begged her to take him back, with the belief that he alone could provide her happiness. He couldn’t accept that she had moved on from the relationship.

I don’t think it’s right to say that V was obsessed with Rika as a person, but it is fair to say that he was weirdly obsessed with the pain she caused him, in a twisted, masochistic way.

Idk why but Saeran (in his After Ending) gives Hyundai Tucson vibes

I know they’re intelligent based on being skilled hackers and having a naturally high IQ, but did they ever actually go to school? I know Saeran briefly went as a teen to the Catholic school nearby, but that wasn’t until he was in his late teens.
