The Ambulators (Podcast)

To the cocksuckers, hoopleheads, and other degraded specimens frequenting this particular fucking thoroughfare:

If you find yourself revisiting Deadwood and wishing for further consideration of its murders, , moral entanglements, and extravagant applications of the word “cunt,” direct your attention to The Ambulators.

It is an episode-by-episode companion hosted by Tamler Sommers, a philosopher, and Dave Pizarro, a psychologist—two learned cocksuckers who have elected to put their education toward examining how a collection of bastards, ambitious cunts, corrupt officials, and otherwise decent souls came to forge a community amid the shit and blood of the fucking Black Hills.

Each episode concerns itself with the camp’s shifting allegiances, and the persistent question of whether civilization represents genuine moral progress or merely an increasingly elaborate arrangement by which powerful cocksuckers steal your fucking lot.

Those inclined toward thoughtful reflection might find the undertaking worth their time. Those disinclined may register their objections with the nearest sack of shit , which stands as likely as any of us to give a fuck.

Now, before some tightfisted cock sucker mistakes their reluctance to part with a nickel for a principled objection, the undertaking resides behind a paywall of five fucking dollars a month. Five dollars it is. Which by all accounts is a sum unlikely to reduce any man to ruin unless his fortunes already hang by the fraying thread of his own catastrophic fucking judgment.

The Chariot, Final Show, Douglasville GA, 2013

Anyone here in attendance that night?

Just wanted to strike up a general conversation about The Chariot and how fun their shows were.

I was in uni at the time and decided to go to both the Masquerade show and then return for the final show in Douglasville. I am from Louisiana so I just drove back and forth. I remember wearing a purple plaid and my As Cities Burn tshirt underneath.

Anyway, LongLive

Tonight the south is on fire

As a kid from Louisiana, knowing NJ was from ATL. Idk that was such an epic announcement for a lyric that signaled to the scene recognition--the songs itself is a a banger (End of all things will be televised). Especially the closing few minutes that build and erupt.

Anyway, makes me think of callouts or whatever lines like Knocked Loose's "Knocked Loose MFer"--something the crowd anticipates.
