I can see from playing a bit myself that this game can certainly make some gamers rage-quit by Floor 3, and there will always be something new and random popping up in your face, like spikes, a gang of thief gnomes, the Big B, etc.

Hey, we are two players looking for a long-term online D&D 3.5e campaign that runs on Thursday afternoons.

We both have several years of D&D experience:

• Player 1: 7 years of D&D experience, including experience with 3.5e.
• Player 2: 6 years of D&D experience, including around 1 year of 3.5e experience.

We enjoy creating unique characters and bringing interesting personalities into the world. One of us likes making unusual characters that are less humanoid leaning, while the other enjoys trying something new each campaign and tends to gravitate toward playing casters.

We are pretty flexible and open to different campaign styles. We are willing to try out new VTTs, adapt to different rulings, and work with the DM's preferred style.

We are mainly looking for a friendly group to join for a longer-term campaign, make memorable characters, and enjoy the game together.

Across the planes, fractures in reality have begun to appear without warning. Thin cracks in space lead to a place whispered about only by survivors and madmen: The Seam.

An endless dungeon suspended between worlds.

Entire ruins, kingdoms, monsters, and forgotten civilizations have been stitched together within its depths. Every floor is its own world with its own rules, and no one has ever discovered where the dungeon truly ends.

No one enters The Seam by accident.

Those who cross its threshold do so willingly, drawn in by an offer impossible to refuse: power, knowledge, revenge, salvation, freedom, or something even more personal. In exchange, a contract is made. Yet once inside, the details become distant and fractured, as though parts of the agreement were stripped away upon entry.

Within The Seam, reality shifts, time bends, and something unseen watches from deep beyond the endless halls.

Somewhere in its depths lies what every entrant was promised.

And the reason the contract had to be signed at all.

Tone

The tone of this campaign is flexible and player-driven. It can shift between grim, dark moments and light-hearted, fun scenes depending on where the story and your characters take it. The Seam is a morally gray and sometimes harsh world, but it is not locked into constant grimdark, humor, levity, and lighter adventures are absolutely welcome when they fit the moment.

Three players looking for a campaign, with two in the EST timezone and one in PST. We're hoping for gestalt rules if possible. (If anyone isn't familiar with gestalt, I can explain it in DMs.)

We're pretty much open to any setting you can think of.

We are available on Fridays, and may also be able to do Saturdays or Sundays later in the day. We prefer a 50/50 mix of combat and roleplay with sandbox elements. We're most experienced with Discord voice and Roll20, and all three of us are experienced with D&D 3.5.
