I did really love pll

A friend of ours hung herself. She was in a domestic violence relationship with a guy. To me it seems suspicious. She supposedly called him on face time and told him she was going to do it and he called a welfare check. She ended up passing away. Do people usually call someone else first and let them know? To me it seems like she wanted help if she would do that.
