Stolen iPhone last seen by Find My near Budd Sugarman Park / Yonge & Rosedale area — anyone recognize this spot?

My iPhone was stolen after someone broke into my car and took it from the glovebox. I’m still getting Find My updates, and the latest location looks like it may be around Budd Sugarman Park / 955 Yonge St, Toronto, or possibly near Rosedale Station / Severn Creek Park.

I’ve already contacted the police, but so far they haven’t been much help, so I’m trying to narrow down the location myself. If anyone is familiar with this area and can help identify the exact spot from the screenshot, I’d really appreciate it. I’m still getting Find My updates as of now.

If you recognize the place heres the screenshot, please comment or message me.

Thanks for any help.

Had a break in

A while back, I had a break-in, and I’m still shaken up about it. While nothing was stolen, the fact that someone broke in and did this has been bothering me ever since. There was no surveillance that could clearly identify the perpetrator, and when I reported it, the police basically just told me to make a report. Given where I live, it feels like there’s not much else they’ll do.

Has anyone else experienced a similar situation? Did you have to pay for repairs or replacements out of pocket, and did your insurance help at all?

After months of waiting I finally got hired by the City of Toronto

I applied back in October 2025 and finally got the offer this May 2026.

Not gonna lie, the wait was rough. With how bad the job market’s been lately, there were a lot of moments where I thought nothing was gonna happen. Sent out so many applications, got ignored by a bunch of places, and kept seeing people talk about how hard it is to even land an interview right now.

This one took months. Assessment, waiting for updates, checking my email every day hoping for something.

Today I finally got a call from the City of Toronto and it honestly feels like a huge weight off my shoulders.

Just wanted to share this in case anyone else is feeling discouraged job hunting right now. Sometimes it really does take time. Don’t stop applying.
