Looking for advice on feeding proportion!

He eats pretty much daily, anywhere from one large cricket to just 1-2 dusted baby dubias in a day. Usually he also gets a small mealworm at bedtime. (For crickets i make sure that he only eats the body, i prepare one by quickly killing and removing the big legs that he can choke on, and then dusting) for the mealworms, he usually gets the babies but sometimes ill feed the big ones if i find a freshly molted worm in my farm. He eats like crazy. He used to turn his nose up to dubias, but hes warmed up the last month and now isnt picky for anything!
Im just looking for advice on how often to be feeding tho. I feel like im feeding too much? Does he look overweight for his little size? Hes gotten round and he looks really happy, so im just making sure im not doing something wrong. (His husbandry is fine otherwise im just worried about the diet)

She had a jolt of energy and flew around a bit last night, and she ate this morning! She is very sweet and crawled on my fingers to say hello. Im naming her Mel

Im so happy this little guy hatched. It was super feisty every time I checked on the caccoon so im not surprised she pulled through to hatching. Ill update in about a day when she starts eating !

Just wondering if the shiny texture and darkening is normal before a shed in alligator lizards. This is my first time owning one but I do understand lizards will change color before a shed, just usually paler and translucent, or milky.. not dark lol. Which is why im a bit baffled.

Should i unplug all my heatmats at night to simulate the realistic temperature drops after dark? Ive got a heatmat for my mealworms, crickets, and dubias, and i have one for warming up the soil in my alligator lizards enclosure as well. I usually just keep them all plugged in over night (turning off the lighting of course)

But should I turn the mats off too?

My mantis laid four ooths. 2 of which i put in the fridge around december, and the other two she laid very close to her passing, in jan, which those then joined the other two. The first two were in the fridge for around 4 months, with the second only being in the fridge around two months. I think i friggin killed them tho!! They mustve not gotten enough airflow or humidity or something while in there, even though i made sure the container had holes in it. Im really sad. These guys are the only thing left from Rebecca and i think i ruined it. I should have just put them outside and let them overwinter naturally instead of refrigerating.

Something to note is they havent gotten heat, only room temps around 65-70° the entire time theyve been out

Ive also poked a few holes in the ends of an oothe, to which nothing leaked out which is the main sign of a dried out oothe :/ but idk

I ALSO have been lightly misting the container theyre in every other morning to keep the humidity good. Theyre even on top of a paper towel for keeping the moisture trapped.

Anyways could someone give me closure or info or anything on raising mantis eggs so i dont mess this up again in the future? Ill be sure to update if these eggs miraculously hatch lol. Again they got taken out of the fridge march 2nd, its almost May now, and still haven’t shown any signs of life.
