I was shopping at H-E-B and used a Combo Loco coupon for El Patio chips and salsa. I initially read the offer as buy one bag of El Patio chips, get one El Patio salsa free.

I went through self-checkout, and when I needed assistance, I called over the cashier. They approved the transaction, and I went on my way.
Later, I realized I had misread the coupon. The actual offer was buy TWO bags of chips to get the salsa free.

I genuinely misunderstood the promotion. I wasn’t trying to scam H-E-B or intentionally get something I wasn’t entitled to. I asked for assistance, and the cashier approved it.

It seems like no one gives a shit anymore… the person who interviewed me today was 15
Mins late, was disingenuous and seemed like he was checking a box or hitting a “KPI”. I’m honestly ready for robots to take over. I can’t deal with this anymore.

Something is in the air today that makes it feel like a Friday

I just got back from Italy (was there for 20 days ) and I want some authentic Italian food made with real ingredients and Italian portions. Please don’t suggest “Sammie’s” or any other fake Italian restaurants.

I have been going to Cabo Bobs for year now - mostly 2/3 times a week. I usually get the burrito or the bowl but today I wanted to spice things up and try the quesadilla… all I gotta say is WOW.. oh my goodness it was so good. A little greasy that’s because of the excessive amount of cheese they used… but I’m not complaining… cheese literally cures depression! Anyway, their quesadilla was so good. Definitely gonna get it again.

None of the streetlights are working on 620 at the moment. Drive with caution!! They aren’t even flashing red.

I’m (M26) and today I was supposed to visit my friend for his bday party in Dallas which started at 10:30 am. The issue is I slept in and I live all the way in Austin and it’s about a 3 hour drive to Dallas from Austin. And if I would’ve left at the time I woke up (which was moments ago) the party would’ve been over by now. Now he’s all mad at me (rightfully so) but the thing is I already pre paid for the reservation (it was an event center) and got him his gift, what should I do to rectify the situation? He’s one of my groomsmen and my wedding is in 3 weeks. I will see him at my wedding shower next weekend.
