Day 6 - Trying to Build in Public - pSEO and How to plan your day?

I have been on a decent run. I'm able to work and do small things that I enjoy, but I am not satisfied with it.
I feel I should be working more, and I am wasting a lot of time on social media.

Based on my knowledge of Psychology and Neuroscience, along with some research I studied, the first few hours after you wake up are the best for hard tasks, especially to learn or work on complex problems.

I'm going to implement it for a week and see if my productivity increases or not.

The disaster I mentioned yesterday was not a disaster; it was a bit of stupidity from my end. My brother had updated the backend, and I didn't even refresh my system.
He later saw my post and asked what was wrong. All he did was refresh my screen, and voila.

I have been researching pSEO, and here are the next steps:

  1. Build content authority. We need to add 20-50 articles that are HUMAN-written, have high value, and are unique.
  2. If all the pages you build get indexed, then we move towards pSEO.
  3. If they are discovered but not indexed in your GSC, then it's a quality issue most likely. Also, note that GSC data is two days behind, so your page might be indexed today, but GSC will show it as not indexed, as the data is two days old.

See you all tomorrow.

P.S. if you are new to my posts, I am building an email marketing platform called Bluey Email.

Day 5 - Trying to build in Public

What a DISASTER! We updated the UI, fixed the form, and then pushed the patch, and now no button is working. Gotta fix this sh*t now.

Had a good day though, did a good workout, practiced Salsa, I am happy, met friends, and that breakup hurts less.

I am learning programmatic SEO with Claude and ChatGPT to scale my SEO, and I'll test it on the marketing agency website using a subdomain. Let's see if I make it or break it.

Has anyone here tried using Programmatic SEO? How were the results?
I will figure it out and offer this as a side-hustle service.

Day 4 - Trying to Build in Public

We have made considerable improvements in the forms.
Our PR article is coming along nicely, should be published in the next few days.

FYI, Google launched a guide on AEO content optimization. I was thinking of breaking it down and adding some tips to it that might help others.

Questions: Should I make a lead magnet out of it and get emails from businesses or other creators, and when Bluey Email is ready, I can use this list to get some traction. My issue is that topic is around SEO, although it falls under marketing, should I pursue it?

I can create so much more content this way and anyone who is in marketing will be fmailiar with the product, at least that's the idea. Thoughts?

I am learning origami, I made a crane and butterfly. It's not as easy as I thought it would be, but it's fun. My therapists said that micro-learning is helping me work more and I kinda agree.
However, I am looking for more ways to decrease my screen time (Have ADHD). Suggestions?

Day 3 - Trying to Build in Public

Today was a slow day; I was not expecting it to be slow. I was so ready to finish my to-do list; however, the admin work and compliance never end.

We are making progress, though. We have improved the UI to fix the issues in the forms. We still have some issues with automated emails. Let's give users the ability to edit them, and then we'll move on to the next issue.

I am also working on a PR article to get some backlinks, have published an email marketing guide as pillar content, and will now be writing more on specific topics, positioning Bluey Email as the solution. Let's see how this works.

Day 2 - Build in Public - Bluey Email

I spend most of my day filling out a VC application. It's weird, I'm half convinced that we should get funding, but the other half doesn't want it.
I know we can grow the platform ourselves. I'm targeting 100 paying users in the next 6 months.

I mean, it's an email marketing platform, how hard can it be?
I also feel a little frustrated today. We do all this struggle to be happy and earn well, but why do we have to?

The platform is good. We improved the form UI, which will enhance the UX. I still have to do QA and see what else to improve.
People who have used it, liked the simplicity and ease of use.

I was thinking of sharing more content on LinkedIn and X and organizing free webinars on email marketing to attract clients. I'm also working on building guides for prompt engineering to attract businesses as a top-of-the-funnel strategy.

This is not the best place, but I'm also going through a heartbreak, and it's hard. Anyway, I still have things to do.

I hope you are also chasing your goals.

Day 1 Of Trying to Build in Public

Here's where we stand: Our product is kind of ready. We have added all the features we wanted, and our tech is all sorted.

Issue we are facing: Both of us are trying to give this as much time as possible, as we are bootstrapped, we are trying our best to survive as well.
Also, both of us are obsessed with improving the user experience. I think it's a good thing, I have heard Jeff Bezos and so many others talking about it. However, it's slowing us down.

What are we going to do: We are going to fix all the bugs and improve things we want to for the next 7 days and that's it. Then we move on to the next phase and launching the MVP side by side.

What am I going to do personally, PLEASE HOLD ME ACCOUNTABLE: I get distracted and try to do 100 things and then come back to the one I really need to do. That thing for next 7 days is doing the QA on our tool (BlueyEmail.com). Add it to all the directories I can find and start building momentum for marketing and launch.
