What needs to be standardized to make operating system more portable across riscv hardware?

And will it reach a state comparable to intel/amd world soon?

Anyone bought AOR vitamins? I have a question.

I switched to buying this canadian vitamin brand called AOR. They come with a seal under the cap but is the cap itself wrapped in any plastic or such? Trying to determine if someone in my house was messing with my order.

Many suitable climates

Malekith/Louen has 3 suitable climates. Meanwhile many entire factions (chaos dwarves, wood elves, etc) have every single climate suitable. Which approach do you think is better? I ask because apparently Nagash is going to be a new faction.

What is the pinnacle of supplement brands?

Most people/sites evaluate supplements on the basis of:

  • advertised vs actual dosage
  • if the multi vitamins have a good blend

Thats important but nothing special, what im interested in is how thoroughly they make sure bad things arent present. Supplements are essentially ultra processed foods sourced from overseas with so many opportunities for contamination.

If you read the COA many supplement companies provide they just test dosage and a few key contaminants, thats not enough. Which company goes the furthest in what they test for? Everyone claims to be third party lab tested but that means little if they arent testing for a wide range of contaminants.

Additionally, while its rare i still want an assurance of no human derived ingredients (ex: L-Cysteine made from human hair).

In my personal research ive found:

  • Thorne ( often recommended on reddit, have several certifications )
  • Kirkman group ( claim to be VERY thoroughly tested, i can find their list of contaminants tested for in archives but not live, its removed or? )
  • Prairie naturals ( organic vegan options, which naturally limits certain contaminants )
  • Whole earth & sea ( organic vegan options, which naturally limits certain contaminants )

Now im asking for any good information on the brands i listed or any i missed.

Does the DAU seriously not have an email or online method of communication?

SBT requires you to forward a copy of everything to the DAU. Am i seriously going to have to waste time, money and paper to mail them everything everytime?

Am i misunderstanding the event callback?

I imagine a regular main sdl application to be a loop of "empty event queue -> other logic -> restart loop".

The callback alternative to main i thought would just be a single callback thats called infinitely in a loop. But actually its split into event/iterate, where event is called continuously until event queue is empty then iterate is called.

I feel im missing something on why its split into event/iterate. Why not just empty the event queue in the iterate callback?

Trackpad randomly stops working

I have a wireless keyboard/trackpad combo device. Every once in a while the trackpad portion of it will stop working, and the issue persists after restarts and can last weeks.

The reason i suspect linux (nixos) is behind it is because occasionally i find a software method to fix it. For example once i was able to consistently fix it by opening pavucontrol, then some system updates happen and the method no longer works.

How do i even begin to debug this?
