Asking for some basic answers

So i have question for international students studying in Korean language...if u got through scholarships i think there is a language learning year and after that your actual studies begin...so do u ever find it hard to study in completely diff language like u are still not that proficient or comfortable in Korean and u have to study subs like maths or phy do u ever find it hard?? Even during exams or assignments when u have to do academic writings does the language become a barrier for u? Even though u know answers but not very sure how to write that properly like the proper Korean student....I really want to know about this...

asking Advice for application of 2027 intake

I’m planning to apply programs related to computing/data science/AI /interdisciplinary/
( design will be my last choice ), and I’m aiming for full scholarships or financial aid opportunities.

My qualifications/profile:

  • State board student
  • 10th grade: 90.81%
  • 11th grade: around 70% (had a rough academic phase honestly)
  • Preparing seriously for 12th and aiming for 95%+

Extracurriculars / experiences:

  • Completed Harvard CS50 (without certificate currently — wondering if the certificate is worth taking?)
  • Learned UI/UX design independently and built a portfolio
  • Did around 3 months of freelancing in data collection and content editing ( and now also i am interning)
  • Collaborated with developers on a live projects as a designer
  • Learned basic programming
  • Participated in a design hackathon (participation certificate)
  • Volunteered in communities
  • Recently started working on a personal project related to tech/design

I’ve also decided to prepare for the SAT and i am confident in getting more than 1500

I know my profile is not Olympiad-level or extremely exceptional compared to many applicants I see online, so I wanted some honest guidance from people who’ve applied or know the process well.

I’d really appreciate advice on:

  • Whether my overall profile seems competitive or if I should significantly strengthen it ( on what part apart from my academics which i know i have to do it)
  • What type of extracurriculars/projects would genuinely add value at this stage
  • Whether certifications/courses actually matter much
  • What I should focus on most during the next few months
  • Whether interdisciplinary profiles (design + tech) are valued positively

I feel like I figured things out a bit late, so I’m trying to use my remaining time wisely. Any advice would genuinely help a lot 😭 (p.s dont be harsh)

what advice can counselor or experienced people give regarding my profile for study abroad (open to other suggestions as well)

I’m planning to apply to NUS, NTU, and HKU (funded scholarships).

my_qualifications-

I’m a state board student and scored 90.81% in 10th grade, but my 11th dropped to around 70%. For 12th, I’m ready to work hard and aim for 95%+.

I’m a bit confused about what else I should focus on for my applications. Should I consider exams like SAT or APs? I come from a middle-class background, so I can only afford to take one exam, if necessary.

For extracurriculars, I’ve completed Harvard’s CS50 (without certificate)should i take the certificate?, learned UI/UX design and built a portfolio, done 3 months of freelancing in data collection and content editing, collaborated with developers on a live project, learned basic programming, volunteered in communities, and participated in a design hackathon (with a participation certificate). I’ve also started a personal project recently.

Could you please guide me on or any suggestions on

Whether my profile is strong enough for these universities

What I should improve or focus on next

Whether certifications or additional courses would actually help

what other ec's can boost my profile

I feel a bit late in figuring things out, so your advice would mean a lot. Thank you so much for your time. (ps. dont be harsh 😭)
