Some modern 40k detox with a painted collection of Classic Marines and Orks!

The majority of models I painted in my first years of doing the hobby on diplay in my place! Always nice to look back to where you started.

No matter what and how many models I got and still going to get, this is the special bunch! Most of it kitbashed or converted.

Scary Genestealers through the Ages!

While testing some painting schemes in my new project featuring Tyranids, I head the idea of genestealers changing in colouration depending on age. From young (deep red and dark carpace) to adult (mixed lighter colourization) to ancient (pale and desaturated) specimen.

While I think the mixed middle tone is the most interesting, I like the idea to give tyranids a more natural and organic theme (of not all looking like clones of one another) with a set of similar but different paint schemes.

What do you think? These guys looks scary or what?

The coolest Space Marines figures you can get?

Impressed by the design of recent Joytoy Warhammer Figures, I finally decided to pull the trigger and get a couple of figures.

Both exceeded my expectations, the Tartaros Praetor in how massive, heavy and imposing he is in person. And the Alpha Legion Armillus Dynat in how good the turquiose armor and his bare head looks.

I got Dynat as a sparring partner for the Praetor and the fact that the yellow and turquiose contrast each other so well. But I would say If you ever want to buy only one Warhammer Action-Figure, the Praetor is it!

Imperial Fist Praetor striding into war!

With multiple displays full of Miniatures, pulled the trigger on Joytoy´s Warhammer Figures for a different flavor.

Went for the one that I thought looked the best out of the entire Joytoy line, the IF Praetor in Tartaros Plate. Heavy, nicely painted and incredible eyecatching. Good posability too.

Just went ahead and ordered another one with which to pose some 1v1 melee combat!

They fly now! Making the Maleceptor more badass.

Certainly one of the more challenging kitbash/conversions that I have done so far. But an interesting new experience to make something fly that was never supposed to, took 4 contact points to make him rocksolid/stable, only the balance isnt centered yet, so he slightly pulls the base up in front...

Definitely already a favorite of my newest Space Marines vs. Tyranids project!
