I painted my first Skaven earlier this year - it was a Zorn palette study using only Pyrolle Red, Yellow Ochre, Ivory Black, and Titanium White. I also use a few dry pigments of the same colours for effect. It was a lot of fun and I experimented with the extended gaming base and plinth.
I snagged a use lot with the Fyreslayers Warcry Band and thought this guy was so cool. I've been working on him as a one off and been really enjoying the sculpt so I've decided to turn him into a display piece.
Put way to much time into this army and was disappointed to not take a podium spot for best painted at a local GT so I put them away. Finally got around to looking at pictures and am very proud of where they ended up and wanted to share.
